I feel so lucky to live near enough to Gruman's that it's easy to find any excuse to go here. The food is phenomenal every single time, not a single disappointment, and the people who work there are all so wonderful and kind. You owe it to yourself to grab lunch here :)
Quality establishment. Full stop. Best cheesecake I took I've ever had. Great sandwich bread. They know what they're doing here. Service was top notch. They're not anxiously serving you - they know what they're doing and they know it's good. Lots of light inside and the place is full of character. Wide range of menu items with something for everyone. Plus many more frozen take home soups, bagels and cooked meals. Only question is why I haven't come...
Such a great spot!! Excellent service, great value. We had the eggs Benedict on latkes, was excellent, the knishes are delightful and the tuna melt is exactly how it needs to be. Highly recommend. Owner/operated is a bonus too!
