Had a great dining experience at Guru India! The Baingan Bharta was smoky, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, and the Kadai Paneer had a rich, well-balanced gravy with fresh paneer. You can really taste the freshness and authentic spices in both dishes.
Compliments to the chef for making such delicious food — everything was prepared with care and great taste. Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic Indian cuisine. Will definitely visit again! 😊

We visited today and were served by Amar, and unfortunately the service did not meet our expectations. She did not appear welcoming and seemed disengaged throughout our visit. I usually try to be understanding toward customer service staff, as the job can be demanding, but this experience was frustrating.
Despite being polite, smiling, and saying thank you, there was very little response. Our Manchow soup was served without the dried noodles, and when we brought it to her attention, there was no apology or acknowledgment. She mentioned that the kitchen had made a mistake; however, as a server, checking orders before serving is also part of the role, especially for common dishes.
There also seemed to be some miscommunication while taking our order, and we were not informed that payment needed to be made at the front even after letting her know we were finished. When we asked for one item to be placed on a separate bill, it felt inconvenient rather than accommodated.
We were three friends, and all of us shared the same impression, which affected our overall experience.
For the owner or management: the food itself is good, and this is a restaurant we normally enjoy. We frequently visit the Northeast location and have had consistently positive experiences there. Our feedback is intended to be constructive, and we hope all staff can be supported with training that ensures every customer is treated with the same level of professionalism and courtesy.

0 stars for the food. Most of the good recipes have been changed and replaced with the yuckiest spicy ingredients that have no real flavor. The food tastes like total garbage. I will never go back to this place again. You’ve lost a customer.

The food itself is good, but everything else is a complete letdown. Communication at this restaurant is absolutely terrible. The front staff’s inability to speak basic English makes ordering frustrating and stressful.
I picked up a large order today—over $200—and the same issues continued. This is not a one-time problem. I have already raised this feedback directly with the owner before, yet there has been zero improvement. At this point, it’s clear the feedback is being ignored, and now it’s enough.
To make matters worse, the lady at the front was openly rude—no smile, no courtesy, no professionalism. Just a cold, unpleasant attitude. This is completely unacceptable for anyone working in a customer-facing role.
This restaurant is located in a predominantly English-speaking local area, so clear communication is not optional—it’s basic. Poor service and bad communication in this environment will continue to drive customers away, no matter how good the food is.
Good food alone does not excuse rude staff, poor communication, and ignored feedback. If the owners actually care about this business, they need to immediately improve their front staff or replace them. Otherwise, they will keep losing customers and large orders like mine.
Food was good, but they had so much take out and pick up, we really felt sorry for the waitress as she was juggling everything. They are pretty cautious about the amount of heat they have in the food, so that even medium hot is not too hot. Another staff member would probably help.

We found a good Indian restaurant in the South after trying their branch in the north. Went with family for dine out and also ordered take outs few times now. The food was fresh and very delicious. That was abundant in quantity and quality was also good. Will definitely repeat and recommend. Thank you and keep up the good work guys!!
