Haandi Indian Cuisine is a great neighbourhood restaurant that accommodates large groups and offers plenty of vegetarian options. The menu features a variety of delicious dishes, including butter chicken, beef curry, and baigan bartha, with rich and deep flavours. While some dishes may be sweet or bland, the tandoori chicken and cheese Naan bread are standouts. The service is friendly and incredibly nice, and the restaurant is kid-friendly. A go-to Indian spot in The Bowness area, Haandi serves fresh, fantastic food with an original taste, slightly different than standard Indian fare. With minimal packaging for take-out and consistently amazing flavours, it’s a great place to try and support.
