Such a lovely evening! I wish I had taken more photos. The service was excellent, the food was absolutely outstanding, and the atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for. I’ll definitely be back!
The roll was very bad, terrible. The rice was very bad, the salmon and tuna in the roll were of very poor quality, everything was falling apart. 3 types of rolls were packed in a small container, everything was stuck together and it was almost impossible to take it out. We have had such poor quality 3 times already, so we will never order from this place again.

I had a fantastic experience at this sushi restaurant! The quality of the fish was incredibly fresh, and every roll was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The menu offers a great variety — from classic rolls to creative chef specials — and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed dinner or a casual lunch. I’ll definitely be coming back soon. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch sushi and excellent service!

I had an amazing server named Crystal who went above and beyond to communicate. She was attentive but not overbearing, she provided information that I didn’t realize I needed without lecturing the different of items on the menu. She was appreciated and well received. I have NEVER had service this well done at a sushi restaurant before. She truly have made this experience stand out for me from other sushi restaurants and I had never been here before. I will come back because of her level of service, that’s for sure. The sashimi was great. Thank you Crystal! You rocked it ;)

Hana Sushi is the real deal. We ordered their super-sized rolls, and the crazy part is they actually held together perfectly even after a generous dip in the soy sauce bath. The flavors were fresh, balanced, and just flat-out delicious. Add in thick-cut sashimi and a great atmosphere in the heart of Calgary, and this dinner easily earns an A+. If you’re looking for sushi that hits both quality and portion size, this spot delivers big time.
