I have grown up in restaurants, so I know great food and service deeply. This was an exceptional experience and every aspect was awesome.

We had the shrimp appetizer, pork belly, and bibimbap, gorgeous. And the sides were very flavourful. Bibimbap was best I have had, and they make their own Samjang sauce in house and it is the best sauce I have had in this life.

High quality fresh ingredients and presentation. For certain you could be proud to take friends and family here for special occasions and never be disappointed.

From the moment you step into Hansang Korean Cuisine it’s a game changer. The ambience is relaxing yet elegant, with beautiful cherry blossom trees adding a serene touch.

Every detail is thoughtfully curated even the serving bowls and plates are top-notch quality, making you feel as if you’re fine dining right in the heart of Korea.

The space is spotless and well maintained, including restrooms in pristine condition.

The staff are genuinely warm, attentive, and welcoming, setting the tone for an exceptional experience.

And the food? Truly unforgettable. The bibimbap was hands down the best I’ve ever had fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My picky eater daughter couldn’t get enough of it!

Their house-made samjang was so good I wish they sold it by the jar!

The miso soup was another standout—perfectly seasoned, never too salty or too bland like so many others in Calgary.

The pork belly was cooked to perfection and served with an incredible variety of side dishes that complemented every bite.

Hansang Korean Cuisine is a true gem authentic, delicious, and served in a setting that feels like a little slice of Korea in Calgary. An absolute must-visit!!

We booked this restaurant on Friday (July 18th) dinner for 6 people.
We ordered Bulgogi stew, Corn cheese, Gamja Tang Stew, Janchi Guksu etc.
Everything was great! We strongly recommend Stew.

I’ve been to Hansang Korean Restaurant in Calgary multiple times and always come away impressed. Their lunch special for $35 is a standout — it offers a generous variety of high-quality, authentic Korean dishes, beautifully presented and perfect for sharing.

The individual à la carte items are also excellent, from traditional stews to grilled meats — everything I’ve tried has been flavourful and well-prepared. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Whether you're dining with friends, family, or business clients, Hansang delivers. I recently brought some business guests here and ordered the lunch special — they were very pleased with the experience. Highly recommend!

first time eating here and I’m absolutely stunned by how good the food is! The owner is specialized in traditional Korean food and all the dishes were so authentic and delicious. Even the side dishes did NOT miss. The presentation of the food is even more incredible 😍

I’ve eaten Korean food around the world, including South Korea or NYC, and Hansang’s quality is definitely top-notch!

It was our first time trying out Korean Cuisine. The service of Esther was amazing. She took time for us to suggest, explain and serve the food. We had Bulgogi Stew and Spicy Korean Fried Chicken, which was amazing!!

It was getting late and we found this nice Korean restaurant close to where we live! Upon entering the restaurant, it looked nice and elegant. The seating was comfortable. The server and staff were very friendly! I ordered a stone bowl rice and it was delicious! My husband ordered a fish and tofu stew with rice and he also enjoyed it! Will definitely come back! As a matter of fact, we are bringing some friends there tonight! ?
