Got the $13 large curry chicken bowl. It was 2 tiny pieces of chicken, one piece of potato, and one piece of carrot all on top of a pound of rice. The most disappointing lunch meal I've had in a long time. Definitely don't recommend.

Today I had the worst chicken curry of my life from this place. I eat a lot of curries and even Tibetan curries (thinner consistencies), and this was comparable to vaguely flavoured rice. First of all, I thought the miso soup was a sauce to add to the curry (not regular miso soup consistency) Upon inspection I found the 2 tiniest tofu bits I’ve ever seen in my life, with a small slice of… lettuce in it ??? Shouldn’t it be seaweed???? When I got to my food, I only ate half expecting to find more chicken. I bought the large size and only had 3 small pieces (1”) of chicken in it. I don’t mind the potato’s and carrots in the curry, but they weren’t even bite sized. It was like someone cut the potato and the carrot in half and then put them in the stew. They were 3-4” large. How do you even eat that with chopsticks? This whole meal for 14$ with a tip, probably cost 50 cents to make. It was simply appalling.

Cool small food shop downtown for Japanese meat and rice bowl with miso soup, udon soup, or gyoza. Friendly staff and the servings are great overall. I tried the bowls a couple of times and like how the meals are low in oil and salt. You have the option for either Medium or Large bowls, and prices are great for whatever size you choose. Definitely recommend for your lunch breaks if you're nearby here. Thanks!

Foods really good, portion is really big, I can never seem to finish the bowl for lunch, i do with for the teriyaki pork bowl i got more vegetables and less pork though
