Burger was painfully dry. The Patties were severely lacking in any Maillard whatsoever. Only redeeming quality to this meal was the red sauce, which was decently flavourful. Sadly there was barely any of the sauce on the burger

Was at the restaurant today and I had a glitch with my debit card so I tried to pay with cash and was told by the employee that they only accept cash if it is the exact amount but that if I didn't want change he would take my money. Yeah, sorry pal I'm not participating in your scam and overpaying for my food.

Really dry burger with no condiments. It definitely needs more sauce or they’ll need to work on recipe a bit more.

We visited on Sun morning. We tried Nashville fried chicken sandwich and high 5 burger. The chicken was not spicy at all, it was not saucy either. Chicken was not seasoned so the sandwich was really bland. The high 5 burger should be their main item but it was also really bland and dry. They had us choose a sauce to go in but honestly it was barely sauced. I want to think they made mistake in that morning because in some other people’s picture, burgers looked saucier. Also, they do not have condiments like ketchup, which was inconvenient.

Price is reasonably priced, potion is not big but not small.

Kid-friendliness: It’s located inside of a food hall, kids friendly

Dear God do I love the humor of the owners! "?Friends with Benedict"? ? Love the puns! Just want to order just for that! But the food does look friggin' awesome! Not are that, it tastes just as great, too! I got the "Big Softee" and those were some of the fluffiest eggs I've ever had, stuck in between two clouds for buns. ?

Over priced, below average quality, ambivalent service bordering on rude. Had to call counter person to the till. Crappy little cardboard tag to track order got my food before someone who'd been waiting 10 minutes.Won't go back, do not recommend. $23 for this.....

I couldn't finish my chicken sandwich. It was only deep fried skin, and the small portion of meat that I had, was far over cooked. My only regret was not taking a photo.

Stopped in here to grab a burger on my lunch break. There was no lineup. Waited 15 minutes for my burger. the service felt super slow. Burger was tasty, I really enjoyed it! But I don't think I would rush back because I have limited time on my lunch hour. I can get a faster burger that tastes just as good elsewhere.

I have walked by this restaurant a few times on my way to work and at first it was extremely packed and busy. Today I decided to try the Hot Chicken Sandwich and I was impressed. The chicken was tender and juicy. The spicy level was great, not too overwhelming or powerful and can enjoy the flavour. The sauce was a great add-on with the spiciness. Portion was filling enough. I can understand the cost due to high rent in Downtown. The employee was very friendly and had a positive aura with a smile. I recommend this place and will come back to try the other selection next time.

Vegetarian options: They have a Plant Based Burger and Fries.

Was hard to see Wendy's leave downtown decades of loyal service not wanting to stick it out through Covid. Nice to see a local burger joint occupy the spot in 5th Avenue Place. Hi-5 fries were crispy and well seasoned and a large portion, the burger provides a solid "60's diner" taste profile with a good flat-top char on the parry. Service was quick but it wasn't lined up.

After waiting 25 minutes for chicken fingers and fries I was disappointed to find them overcooked and very greasy. Still, better than the lady in front of me who had to ask them to remake her undercooked chicken sandwich. People don't have time for this during their lunch break. At least the fries were good

I tried the burger with red sauce and was really good. Thin smash patties cooked just right. Fresh crisp shredded lettuce worked well. Fries were plentiful even for the small.

There are a lot of boutique burger restaurants to choose from, so you should really try to stand out, and Hi5 doesn’t stack up.Burger patty is great - smash burger, cooked well, albeit very thin. Price was ok, $10 for a burger, $1 for cheese.Forgot to put cheese on both our burgers but didn’t forget to charge for it (took to go so couldn’t address it in person). That’s fine, mistakes happen. No biggie.Fries were disappointing, $4 of boring overly crispy flavourless potato sticks.
