Aw what a special experience! I stumbled in to the restaurant for the first time on the open mic night on Tuesday and had such a lovely night. Baba (the emcee) made my night, he immediately created such a welcoming atmosphere; he welcomed me personally and the people sitting around. Greeting people by their first names. These are the spaces and the kind of people worth treasuring.

- the workers spend more time talking and making jokes than working. Long line, slow service - nice atmosphere. - very busy place, add significant more time if coming here since you spend a lot of time waiting

Been trying to get a table in this place for months, it's like an exclusive club for the academic younglings. I did a reading date with my gal pal. I got the matcha frappe with chocolate whipped cream (they ran out of white) I felt like a child. Gal got a white chai, it looked like she was drinking milk. Felt like we fit in with the youth.

Love their coffee so much and the vibe of the place was relaxing to me. I would definitely recommend their cafe calypso! If you need a place to hangout with friends or study, this place is good for that since they have many chairs.

This place has gone down hill a lot. Mediocre coffee and horrible quality food. Overpriced place and definitely not worth it. They also need to take care of the place and clean it a bit. It looks run down and looks like it’s never been mopped before.
