Always a joy to dine at a culinary school, and Highwood did no disappoint! We were seated (after a bit of a challenge locating it on the campus; more signage would be good!) in a quiet corner of the very attractive and welcoming dining room. The cocktails and wine choices were excellent; our entrees of rack of lamb and duck done 2 ways were cooked perfectly. The focaccia could have had much less oil; the center was still a teeny bit doughy. Dessert was light and tasty. Overall...
The food was delicious and beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was cozy. The service team was attentive and thoughtful. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff for your warm hospitality and for making our friend's birthday celebration extra special with a delightful dessert surprise.
Friendly and attentive service. Nice choice of appetizers; the artichoke dip was very tasty, whereas the calamari were not fried well enough. Entrees: excellent salmon on a innovative veggie/bean bed. Duck 2 ways is recommendable.
