I eat in this spot a lot since I work in the area. I must say the customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well kept constantly. Prices are affordable and they serve large portions.

Great spread of Southern barbecue. You buy your meat or dish, and then choose your own barbecue sauce-- they have a range of sauce choices from the sweet and thick to the more vinegary and spicy.

Usually really like this place but today wasn't their best- bun was soggy and my fries were basically raw. Pork inside the sandwich was good though.

We tried the pork & brisket sandwiches and found there wasn't enough smokey taste in the meat and it was missing salt. Meat mixture could of used a mix with bbq sauce.

Absolutely delicious food. But setting aside the food I want to address the service. I arrived a short while before close and the girl helping us out went out of her way to prepare us a meal that I genuinely didn't expect.

Used to be excited to go to Holy Smoke... Surely, it seems as though there are new owners? As the experience I had today wasn't even comparible to how it used to be. I remember walking in and smelling the smoked meat, everything used to be stocked and you were greeted with a friendly hello. I guess since I've been here last the prices have basically doubled. $10 for a stew? The same portion as before but not the same quality? I don't mind paying more but only if it tastes as good as it used to. The ribs tasted different, the sauce we got (that we've always gotten) didn't taste at all the same. The lemonade used to be my favorite. It didn't even come from the machine like it used to. It was poured from a juice jug. What is your secret? Juice crystals? Mixing lemon juice with sugar? It was not good. So, why charge the same? (Or more) Lastly, the whole atmosphere of this location used to be clean and welcoming. (A place I had recommend to friends and family) Now it looks run down, dirty and was asked 3 times if I was ready to order yet? I'm willing to give the other location a shot but I don't believe I'll be returning to the one on 16th Ave.

Its subjective, but I don't understand a 4 star review for this place. Here's an honest review: 10 bucks for a tiny sandwich with little meat. The meat is almost always dry (hence the focus on their amount of sauces) and the portions are terribly small. Grab an order of mac and cheese here for several dollars, and you get three spoonfuls of noodles with butter and no hint of cheese. Wow, just what a 3 year old would eat and it only costs as much as an adult meal. Meanwhile, you can go down the street to Get Smoked BBQ where a 12 dollar sandwich comes on a footlong bun and has, at minimum, 3 times as much meat that is always juicy and tender. Get Smoked has cheese sauces and other toppings for the sandwich like peppers and onions too. This place isn't bad or dirty or anything, they just charge too much for too little compared to their competition. Get Smoked is just down the street and you'll get far more bang for your buck there, to be completely honest.

Highly recommend the pulled pork on a pretzel bun. It was probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a really long time. Paired up with their great selection of sauces you can really find something to suit your taste -from smokey and sweet to spicy and my personal favorite, their BBQ Horseradish sauce.
