When your service is garbage and ignores you.. and then the tip machine asks for 20% minimum
Our go to for Vietnamese in S.E. Calgary! Vermicelli bowls are my favourite! Food is always fresh and tasty, great serving sizes. I feel comfortable taking visitors there. Service is fast and friendly, restaurant decor is nice as well.
I have been dining in and taking out from this establishment for several years. It is a welcoming, family run restaurant with amazing appetizers (shrimp rolls, chicken wings), combined with delicious pho and other cultural specific dishes. 5/5!
Excellent all around.
Quiet, cozy and clean environment, signature delicious soup noodles made from fresh ingredients, excellent service. Highly recommended.

The pho was very fragrant and you can smell the different spices they added to it. Noodle was smooth, silky and chewy. Very nice Vietnamese place in the south.
Absolutely horrible. The owner was incredibly rude and yelled at me. What an unbelievable experience.
Great little spot with excellent service and good atmosphere. Place was spotless, well priced and had amazing service, good was quick and was good, felt like it could use a little more spices but good overall, lots of parking available and fairly easy to get to.
I really enjoyed the food quality here, especially when compared to other Vietnamese restaurants in and around the area. The prices were good, again in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants.
This place is amazing! Tasty and filling. Very healthy ingredients and could eat it everyday if I could. The people who run it are welcoming and very nice people to talk with. This is my favorite pho spot.

Small portions and expensive. Didn't come to refill waters for any customers either.
I am a pho connoisseur, really shocked by the reasonanly high ratings here. I've been to over 40 vietnamese restaurants in the city, this is definitely in the bottom 25%. Purely on the taste of the food itself, very average to other vietnamese restaurants.
The lowest default tip being 25% is also laughable.

DO NOT SUPPORT THE OWNER OF THIS RESTAURANT.
Truthfully, the food is just alright. I give it a three star because honestly, the portions are tiny for how much you pay and it is definitely not on par with other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. But the food is okay. I’m not sure where all the amazing ratings are coming from. I wouldn’t be surprised if all these people haven’t tried another Vietnamese place.
HOWEVER! The worst part about this place by far is the owner. He has the worst attitude I’ve ever seen and he acts like you’re a stupid child when he’s talking to you. He’s always smug, never says thank you or says hello politely, and gives you the vibe of being overall scummy and negative. If you ask for any extra utensils or things on your food, he has this tone to his voice that makes it seem like you are heavily inconveniencing him. Even if the food were phenomenal, I wouldn’t come back because of the owner. I have never felt so completely insulted just talking to someone before let alone eating at their restaurant.
Please, do your research and go to any other place. This place is mediocre at best when compared to other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. And please, don’t give money to the owner. He does not deserve any bit of it with his attitude.

The beef satay banh MI was excellent! I'll order it again. I want to try other things on the menu too, so I'll be back for lunch again. Service was relaxed and friendly.
