After just recently moving back into the neighborhood that I grew up in, I was very excited to introduce my wife to my favorite mom and pop pizza shop that I loved growing up.
She absolutely loved the pizza aswell as the frozen lasagna we kept in the freezer for a rainy day when we didn't feel like cooking.
The pizza is amazing but what brought back memories more than anything was the welcoming greeting you get every time you walk through the door to pick up your pizza.
Don't bother with the franchised places. I'm telling you you won't regret getting your next pizza from Howie!

Ordered a small deluxe, garlic cheese bread and a pound of hot wings tonight off UberEats. Very reluctant to try new places but as I live very close by and Howies has great reviews, I took a chance.
Very unimpressed with the pizza quite honestly. It was undercooked and felt like a deep dish even though I ordered a pan. It was an incredibly bland pizza on every level.
The real issue though were the wings. They were meaty and well cooked but that chicken was not fresh. It has a bit of a stink to it and you can just tell it's been hanging around a little too long in the walk in. I ate a few and didn't get sick but man, do they just have a taste and smell to them, even through the Franks hot sauce. I won't be back at all. $43 bucks down the drain.

My husband just ordered a pizza today for half veggies and half all meat and it was so good! Pizza is not under top compare to other well known pizza store you will see mostly pizza sauce rather than veggies and meat, apparently I didn’t ordered just pizza sauce 🤣 but with Howie’s pizza I’m truly satisfied . The best quality pizza I’ve seen and ever tasted in calvary. This is now my pizza store 💯👍

I can't say enough good things about Howie's Pizza. The food, service and overall quality is amazing. My girlfriend and I love ordering from here because not only is every single pizza we've tried incredible, but we love getting the half-baked pizzas on the way home from work, AND the gluten free crusts are also by far the best we've had in the city. We have so many faves, and can't wait to try them all.

Really amazing pizza! Finding a good gluten free pizza can be difficult but they’ve definitely nailed it. I also love how they have the option for half-baked pizza so you can finish cooking it at home, that way it’s fresh and hot whenever you want!
