Hudson’s in Shawnessy is hands down the best pub in Calgary! After my birthday being ignored at multiple bars, they went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed myself! absolutely would recommend, Thank you Bailey, Max, and Dav! you guys are gems :) and thank you for making my 20th so special!

I organize for my choir friends to have a karaoke night at Hudsons. We had such a blast!! Good food and exceptional service. We were welcomed and throughout out the night our server remembered our names, was always on top of it making sure we were topped up and enjoying ourselves. Customer care has been going downhill at many places but not here! Emily was amazing!! She was genuine, caring and ensured we were all doing great! This girl deserves 5⭐️. Hudsons had a great selection of happy hour food and beverages and the servings were great and delicious.
As for karaoke. The host was remarkable! Great and engaging. Couldn’t ask for more from them. The sound was great unlike other karaoke hosts. Great equipment and amazing music selection and was well organized.
One thing I need to mention is the set up. We wish they were located in a better spot. Our group was blocked from the “stage” by the bar and huge pillar that we couldn’t see who was performing. We had to leave our seats when one of the singers from our group was singing just to watch. Maybe by the dart games would’ve been fantastic so both sides of the bar could see and engage with the performers.
Thanks for a memorable evening, Hudsons! We will definitely be back for karaoke, drinks, food and exceptional service!

Decided to visit Hudson’s since I haven’t been in a very long time and wow was it a disappointing experience. Came for wing night. Received the most disappointing boneless wings. Got 6 boneless hot wings that were sooo tiny. Disappointing as they’re still $8.99 a pound. We also asked the server how large a poutine was and if it was enough for two people. She said it’s huge and will fill you real up. As you can see from the photo it was very small. Maybe had about 18 fries if that. It was cold and didn’t even melt the cheese curds. The server wasn’t great. She couldn’t answer any of our questions. She didn’t know what the drink special was. She gave false information about the poutine. Safe to say I won’t probably be visiting Hudson’s again for a long time if again.
