Humpty's Big Plate Diner - Richmond Road

Well as a person who loves Humptys pan scramblers I get one every time I'm in a city that has a humptys and I have to say thos was the worst one I ever had the cheese sauce was clumpy there was next to no potatoes my plate was filled with ham and egg we were ordering the kids cheeseburgers I asked if we could get onions on one and I had to keep explaining that I know it doesn't come with we want it on very disappointed at this one

Loralea was a great server and added to this classic hometown brekky experience. Average food but matches the average price. I got the build your own big breakfast with hard boiled eggs, pancakes hashbrowns and a sausage And I got a last minute menu replacement on the sausage with zero fuss. If you want a *normal family breakfast experience (which is maybe rare these days) that makes you feel at home in canuck, you'll get it here. I needed that

Great service and wonderfully friendly staff! Were attentive to the table, but not over-the-top. Gave us our space to enjoy the meal while being present to help. Quick service and good food.

Humpty's Restaurant Review: A Culinary Experience to Forget

Oh, Humpty's, where do I even begin? If I had known that my 33 km journey would lead me to a restaurant that closes its kitchen at the ripe hour of 7:30 PM, I might have considered packing a picnic. Seriously, what type of kitchen shuts down before prime dinner time? It’s almost as if they don’t want customers to enjoy an evening meal.

I suppose it’s no mystery why all the Humpty's locations are closing. Who needs consistent operating hours or customer satisfaction when you can just close up shop whenever you feel like it? Congratulations, Humpty's, you’ve managed to turn the simple act of dining out into a wild goose chase. If I wanted a quest, I would have gone to an escape room, not a restaurant.

Thanks for the unforgettable experience – I’ll be sure to share my tale of culinary futility with everyone I know.

Ordered eggs Benny it came out to the table cold as if it came out of the fridge and my wife's was just the same but different order.

Food was awful. Eggs undercooked, cold and burnt hash browns, and the driest French toast I’ve ever had. Had to keep flagging down the server and there was only 1 other table in there.
