South Calgary has a gem with this new Thai take-out restaurant! From the moment we unpacked our family feast, the aromas transported us straight to Thailand. The dishes are incredibly authentic, crafted with top-quality ingredients that make each bite a burst of flavor. Every family member couldn’t stop raving about how delicious and perfectly spiced everything was. This is hands-down some of the best Thai food we’ve ever had outside of Thailand, and it’s a huge plus that it’s right here in our neighborhood. We’re already planning our next order – can’t wait to savor these incredible flavors again! Highly recommend!

Hungry Thaiger is a top tier hidden gem. Couldn’t decide what to eat, Google mapped looking for soup and to my surprise there’s a highly rated restaurant inside the Oakridge community center, SO and myself decided to give it a shot.
The owners were very friendly, very knowledgeable about everything on their menu. I ended up asking if they had vegetarian options as my SO is and I was informed almost everything on the menu is available vegetarian!
Tonight we decided to go with Thai red curry, Tom Kha, and a pad thai, Hungry Thaiger delivers, all 3 dishes were phenomenal, so much flavour and so much depth to the flavour, on par with some of the higher end Thai places. Portion sizes are fairly large and prices are very reasonable.
Needless to say, I’m impressed and I will be back to try everything on the menu.

What an pleasant unexpected surprise to find this hidden gem upstairs at the Oakridge hockey rink. The venue is odd but the food is fantastic and the staff are friendly as can be. Will be back often.

Really amazing food and very kind owners behind the kitchen! Great value. We will definitely be ordering again. We just wish they were open on Saturday’s, but understand that they need a break as it’s just two of them running it right now!
