We had valentine's dinner at the Hutch - while I think this place would be great for breakfast, brunch or lunch, it left a bit to be desired for dinner, as it really felt like a cafe rather than a restaurant. Food quality was more lunch-based, rather than dinner-based. The half lobster had a slice of cheese melted on it, and bland sauce on the pasta. Lobster bisque was delicious. Husband said his french onion soup was good, but his duck was bland.
This is a cute place for a casual brunch but I made the mistake of booking an anniversary brunch here. I had also noted this in our reservation, which didn’t make a difference. We had okay service, our server was very friendly however we never got offered another coffee refil or even a water. The water glasses are small so being more attentive would make the world of a difference. I had to ask for the bill after sitting at our table talking without water for 10-15 minutes. I...
