IHOP in Calgary

“We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes (2 @ $8.69), new york cheesecake pancakes (2 @ $8.69), and strawberry banana pancakes(4 @ $15.29) . My daughter loved the chocolate chip pancakes and I enjoyed the strawberry banana. You can get a half order of 2 or a full of 4. The service was like any other franchise restaurant, fairly basic, nothing exceptional. They have Bigelow green tea $3.79. Seems like a family oriented restaurant on ground level for people with mobility issues. Overall it was nice. The last I Hop we visited during the holidays was in Edmonton AB South Park Centre and the service at that location was exceptional. At that location we ordered the breakfast sampler which was A+.

“So I celebrated my citizenship ceremony by going to ihop! I wasn’t expecting any great service however my server if I remember her name correctly was Gurvinder. She was by far one of the most hospitable servers I have met. Service was like a fine dine from her, her anticipation for our needs and her food recommendations to pair with our beverages was nothing short of exemplary. She was outstanding, wait time has improved much better since my last visit. I will visit here again and I will make sure I have her as my server. It was my pleasure to celebrate my happy occasion at this joint with servers like her who are a true embodiment of hospitality. A huge kudos to her. She is an asset to the management there! Good food keeps you in the game. But service like hers make a business at par. Very happy and satisfied! Thank you for hosting us.
