I've been here on a few occasions and the food has been very good! I've only had one small problem with taste, but it really wasn't a big deal. The food has been great overall
The service has been average. Sometimes you get a really kind server who smiles and makes you feel welcome, and sometimes you get one who doesn't smile, isn't that friendly, and isn't welcoming. In my opinion the food makes up for this, but it's certainly an area for improvement.
All in all, this is a great spot for breakfast!

I was at IHOP this morning for breakfast with a long time friend I hadn't seen in a while. She was in from out of town. We were seated right away and our order was taken with food arriving all relatively smoothly. However once we received our food, we never really saw our server again unless we asked for something. Then after we got the bill, I was super disappointed that within about 10 minutes our server comes up and explains to us that we are taking up a table and sitting in another servers section and she is missing her turn because we are using one of her tables. We were asked to leave so she could get her table back. We were completely in shock. Ive never been asked to leave a restaurant because I was visiting and especially being a paying customer (and I tiped 20% on the bill). The booth beside us was empty and so were at least 5-6 other tables that I could see. There was no line up or rush and they weren't that busy. It was truly a disappointing way to end our visit abruptly and I will not be recommending that location to any friends of family.

I decided to give IHop a second try. For a house of pancakes, these are average. I order the Serrano Benny's, bread was cold, chewy, the meat has tasty tho. Our waitress and host gave excellent service, but not grant a third visit .

If you are looking for a very small breakfast place then this is okay. We just didn't get enough for the price we paid. We had omelets and it was very small plus we had to pay for the sides đ. One person small omelet and a tea was $25. If you compare it with other places then you have a larger portion. The staff didn't come to our table except taking the order and cleaning đ our plates after a long time. We were seating close to the kitchen and all staff would kick the door so hard to get out of the kitchen with a cold food after the food was under the light for a while. We just didn't enjoy our small portions and rude staff. Maybe you could have a better experience with the pancakes but we won't go there again.

After picking up my son at Deerfoot city we always have breakfast at this location as it's the only location open very early just a few steps away from my son's workplace the food is good the servers are nice, kind and respectful

From the welcoming host (Nicole), our attentive server (Raizel) and very professional Manager. We appreciate and loved the experienced as always (as a regular guest). Service needs to be fixed every time we want to get a drink it takes over 20 minutes for our service to get a drink please fix your service

Experienced racism here, sadly. Updated: Extremely disappointed in the way this business is being ran. I posted a review about experiencing racism, and havenât received any type of reply. Whoever is replying to these reviews are only replying to those who have said good things about this business. What about those of us who have dealt with such unprofessional, racially profiling staff? Since moving to Calgary, my family and I have spent a lot of money at this specific location. We tip every time, even after experiencing terrible service.
I suggest this specific location hire some new staff, or teach your employees good hospitality. This company caters to white people and white people only, as they believe theyâre the only ones who tip. If you are coloured, donât expect to get treated with respect at this location. Absolutely ridiculous.

I had a great experience at IHOP Deerfoot! The food was fresh, hot, and exactly what youâd expect from IHOPâdelicious pancakes and satisfying meals. The service was friendly and attentive, and the staff made us feel very welcome. The restaurant was clean and had a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a heaveeeeennnnnn dining experience, and Iâll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend this location! Pau and Arlene are awesooooommmeeee!!!
