We were a little disappointed with our IHOP breakfast. We’ve been regulars for a number of years and it just seems as if the quality and preparation is becoming mediocre. This morning my main gripe was the biscuits. If that is the best IHOP can offer I think the item should be removed from the menu. Pasty and doughy, resembling a falling apart pancake - wishing good luck to anyone attempting to eat a biscuit sandwich. How can something so low quality be considered acceptable to serve to customers?

I just had a terrible experience and feel like we were mistreated.
We came to IHOP for my husband's birthday. Arrived at 11:07, wasn't sure about what they offer so we inquired at the front and wasn't met with much enthusiasm. Then, we got seated down and was told to inform our server. It took about 10 minutes to get our server to come. I mentioned it was his birthday and her response was "oh, ok". Again not much enthusiasm or customer service here. Then we kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting for our food. I was losing my patience, at one point I saw the people that came right before us leaving the restaurant. Our food arrived at 12, that's 50 minutes since we arrived. We came here to celebrate his birthday and were ignored, in fact no one has had the courtesy to even say "happy birthday". This whole time I had suspicion of mistreatment and was feeling upset. What confirmed it to me was the staffs coming to another table and did their happy birthday chant.
EDIT: I wrote this while sitting at the table. Afterwards, we spoke with the manager on duty, and she was very understanding of our experience and offered a coupon.
