Best food , green tikki and palak paneer are yummiest food here
On September 7th 2023 at 1:11 p.m. I ordered butter chicken and coconut rice and I asked if they can throw a couple of vegetables in. First time ordering from this place and damn it was delicious I can't wait to try some others food😋💕💕 I did not realize the portions were so big I guess I should have asked if they had half orders as it was only for one person but that's okay I have butter chicken for a few days yum yum.
We ordered through Skip, so we haven’t been to the restaurant yet, but we’re making plans to go! The food was so delicious. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The spice level was perfect, the portions were large, and the flavours were outstanding! We will absolutely be ordering / visiting them again!

The goat and chicken curry are outstanding, with every flavor picked up separately in the perfectly textured gravy. The restaurant stands out for its excellent quality, freshness, and reasonable pricing, offering the freshest naan bread and popadum. Customers also highlight the friendly and attentive service provided by the staff, making it a well-rounded dining experience. The menu is very authentic and diverse. The Indian Ocean Restaurant is a gem, a must-come place for tourists looking for Indian food. The Paneer Tikka Masala was giving perfect authentic tikka masala smokey flavour and naans were also so soft. Overall food and service both were perfect. The Fish Pakora is recommended. The restaurant is worth the distance, they don’t skimp on protein, the portions are generous, and the flavors are consistent. The Indian Ocean is the best option, it is hands down the best option in Calgary.
