Excellent food and service. Old school vibe might keep the influencers away. But don't be fooled. This place is the real deal.

Unfortunately it was a night to forget at Centini. We have been fans of Centini for many years and have had family celebrations in the private function room over the years. We were seated in the private function room as the main dining room was booked by a convention. We were celebrating our anniversary. We ordered 3 courses for my wife and I to each share. After the salad, we had a full 1 hour wait for our food to arrive. We ordered a favorite pasta dish as our 2nd and the branzino for our main. They served both our 2nd and 3rd courses together, not hw we had ordered. The ragout pasta, a favorite, had no ragout which made the pasta dry, and so tasteless. By the time, we got to the branzino, which was well prepared, it had cooled and so the taste was disappointing. Apologies came and they comp'ed desert. Our sense is that the kitchen was overwhelmed with the convention and it showed in both food and service. We feel Centini should have closed to regular patrons on such a night. I was very disappointed with the dover sole-overcooked and dry .It looked and tasted like it had been cooked in a deep fryer.

Everything was wonderful but I would suggest anyone with young kids I put on the bar side away from the fine dining side. The child was yelling and screaming.

We had an excellent experience at Centini. Since there was construction downtown, we arrived with a significant delay; when I called, the restaurant said they would keep our reserved table without a problem (even though they were very busy). When we arrived, we were asked if we had a show to catch, which was the case. There was a rush put on our order, everything was served quickly, and we had more than enough time to enjoy our meal. And the meal was delicious. My orange roughy was perfect, and my friend very much enjoyed her excellent spaghetti bolognese. Thank you for the outstanding service and delicious meal! We will be back!

We were celebrating a birthday & going to the theatre. It was a wonderful experience. Our server was fantastic-a true professional, attentive but not in your face & very personable. The food was as delicious as ever. The decor is tasteful with gorgeous fresh flowers through out the room. We really enjoyed ourselves and will continue to make this our ‘go to' restaurant when we are downtown.

We had a lovely experience at Centini for our anniversary. When our server knew we were gluten-free, he offered to bring GF bread to our table. He also did not charge extra for this or GF pasta. What a delightful surprise to find they do a GF chocolate souffle! Although it was very busy, and a little noisy, we will definitely go back.

We have always had such wonderful people serving our dinners at this fabulous restaurant! I can't say enough about them all! We had the privilege of sitting by the kitchen and watching the magic happen!!! Such talent! Love this place!!!

Nitin, our server was exceptional, he remembered us from before and provided fantastic service with attention to detail He decanted the wine we ordered in an amazing looking decanter and made our experience last night very special. We recommend the restaurant very much and we will be definitely going back.

Wandered past Centini a few times over the last year and thought ihe menu and atmostphere looked interesting. Finally made plans to celebrate a birthday there and was not disappointed. We lived in Europe for a long time and are always looking for a restaurant that feels like it could be European, from the point of view of menu offerings and ambiance. Centini was pretty close! Two particular standouts from our choices were the mozzarella/proscuitto starter and duck breast - never had duck quite like that and it was excellent. The service was attentive but not obsequious, and we liked that we could actually hear each other talk. It was unusually quiet for a Saturday evening (7:30 start) but I got the impression that even when it's busy, the noise level would be bearable. We sat at a high table with view to the kitchen, which is always an entertaining way to spend an evening. All in all I'd give Centini two thumbs up, as I'm not a fan of starred ratings. We'll be back!

We really wanted to love this place but unfortunately the food was a major let down. Very overcooked fish and seafood and the muscles tasted off. We did let them know but nothing was done.

My wife loves Italian food but I have celiac disease and a lot of places can only accommodate so much. I chose Centini for our anniversary dinner this year because we got an authentic feel, amazing service, outstanding food and I had so many options! We had the best experience, we left ready to come back for another visit. I highly recommend this restaurant for any date night, corporate event, family function... any excuse to have great food. I would never want to rush this experience so I recommend having time to enjoy all the little things and your company, whoever it is.
