Biggest MISTAKE PLEASE DO NOT ORDER UBER FROM THIS RESTAURANT
Pork was included in my order despite me calling the owner beforehand to confirm everything I was ordering through Uber Eats. The Shanghai noodles don’t state any meat in the description, and the other items clearly mention pork. It’s even listed under the vegetarian section. After calling the owner, she was extremely rude and told me I needed to come pick up the corrected dish myself, which I cannot do.

Finding this place was amazing! A real Gem (like its name) service was good and they were able to make most of the order MsG and let me know which plate had it!

Ordered vegetarian hot and sour soup, received both orders with meat. Called and was told we would not get a refund or corrected order because they misheard us and that next time we should call from a quieter location. No apology was made. The noodles that we could eat were ok. Won’t be going back.

Excellent! The salt and pepper squid, overall, is one of the best I’ve tried in Calgary.
The portion of it is huge, the seasoning is delicious, it will be perfect if it wasn’t under-fried!
Also they provide a small bowl of soup for free, which tastes good as well.
Owner and staff have always been warm, friendly, and understanding. Food is also one of the best in the NW. The special combo of XO sauce lobster & Peking pork is awesome food at a good price. Having been eating in for some time, always a great experience when we visited, will keep going back!

I ordered for the first time on May 20, 2025, and I was expecting good things based on the reviews. I found the food to be very greasy. The spring roll was inedible because of the grease. The rice was ok but still greasy. The ginger beef has way too much coating. I wasn't sure there was actually meat in it. I would go somewhere else.
