This restaurant is a hidden gem we found looking for a cup of coffee. My wife is from Ethiopia and instantly felt welcomed and at home with Fre the owner. She roasted us fresh Buna and did the traditional coffee ceremony for us. We ended up staying for lunch and had some delicious injera and tibs. The atmosphere is a cool blend of coffee shop and traditional Ethiopian iconography if you’re looking for it. Fre kept coming back and chatting with my wife about their lives growing...
The dulet was delicious and the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the customer service made the experience even better. Definitely a place worth coming back to!
We stopped here on a roadtrip back home to Ontario from the mountains. The service was outstanding and the food was too. We wish we could have dined in and tried more off the menu! The chicken wrap was truly superb and the infinity latte was so yummy. Will come again if we are ever back in Calgary!
