This was my first time visiting here! The atmosphere was great. Our chef was so much fun. Our reservation was a little late, but when we got in and sat down we were out fast. Would absolutely recommend!!

Absolute worst experience! Will never return! The staff were not friendly at all. My daughter has dietary restrictions and does not eat any of the food on the menu. I brought her something to eat and they would not allow her to eat in the restaurant. She is 6 years old! We had to stand outside of the door in the hallway for her to eat her dinner. They almost didn’t allow her water bottle we brought in. Zero compassion or care from the front staff! When we brought her food out they immediately removed her plate and told us this was not allowed. We celebrated a birthday and wanted to do cake and gifts and they rushed us out of there like we were cattle! No water or drink too ups, no napkins brought for dessert, zero check in on our table. The soup was tasteless, the salad was a child sized portion, the veggies were not fully cooked. Terrible experience! Over priced, bad customer service and everything was a cash grab! Took our picture and charged us for the photo. Beware! Not worth your money even for the so called “experience”

This is the best hibachi restaurant in Calgary and dare I say it Alberta. The chefs are talented and amazing, they have so much energy and personality you lose track of time. Although it is on the steeper side price wise it’s worth it completely. 11/10 you NEED to eat here

Loved the cooks at the grill! Made our birthday party special. The girl that was our server was not great but I watched other tables and rest looked quite good. Food was great.

We had so much fun for a birthday celebration here. Very cool experience unlike any other restaurant I've been too. Love that they also gave us a photo at the end too to commemorate the special day, our chef was hilarious and great energy and our server was attentive and awesome as well. The food tasted so good and the cocktails were yummy too, especially the peach one. I had steak and chicken, my mil and hubby had filet mignon and my kids had teriyaki beef. Everything was perfect and we had a total blast! A very special place the celebrate for sure with lots of laughs and my kids were obsessed with the fire and chef's tricks.
This restaurant needs a total Reno. It’s so old & dirty we will never go there again! Even the so called white trays food was put on & brought to our table was gross! Surprised this restaurant passes health inspection!

We had my BFF in town from NS for a visit. It’s the one thing we always got in, a supper at JV. We had Desmond as our Chef. He was so adorable and I want to make sure he is recognized. And as always, food was so delicious.
