Very disappointing experience at Jara Cafe. We politely asked for an extra cup so someone in our group could simply taste the drink, not to take anything away. The request was refused without any consideration, which felt unnecessarily rigid. I have never experienced this level of inflexibility at a cafe before. Poor customer service and not very welcoming.

Our visit to Jara cafe was extremely disappointing. The place was uncomfortably cold, and even though we politely asked to change tables, the owner refused, claiming the other tables were “reserved.” What made it worse is that those tables stayed empty the entire night.
The front door also doesn’t close properly, so cold air kept coming in and made the whole experience unpleasant. We offered several suggestions to help reduce the cold, but the owner did not cooperate at all. Instead, he dismissed our concerns and even made fun of us, saying it wasn’t that cold.
Overall, the service was terrible, the atmosphere was uncomfortable, and the owner’s attitude was unacceptable. Definitely not recommended.

The food was decent, but the quality of the hookah was disappointing. The service was also unpleasant - the waitress seemed visibly annoyed when we asked to change our hookah because it wasn’t smoking properly. If we’re paying money, we expect to receive a good product and friendly service, not to feel like unwanted guests. Unfortunately, that’s exactly how we felt. And please, don’t make a sour face when you don’t get a tip - tips should be earned. It was our first and last time here.
The manager here is so kind and welcoming. She makes the experience worthwhile. I love this location and how it just calms my nerves.
The owner is also amazing. He offered me a free bottle water.
I always get the best suggestions for shisha and today the Philly cheese steak and fries were so amazing

Garbage treatment, as soon as we walked in and we ordered at 10:30 pm where the cafe was empty…. We had ordered 1 Shisha for a table of 5 and the rest of the people weren’t smoking and we were looking at the menu, and in no time the owner walks out of nowhere and tells us “you’re ordering 1 Shisha for 5 people” we tell him we’ll be ordering drinks, he says “you’ll order water and 1 Shisha that’s unacceptable, there’s a minimum charge of 25 per person” keep in mind this is not mentioned anywhere on the website. The place was literally a ghost town and it’s late at night so he sais “you can squeeze in 25 dollars” so we got up and left and we’ll never be coming back again. This is not just disrespectful but it’s unprofessional, the way the message was conveyed was disgusting.
