Good muffins. Smoothie could use some work. Friendly staff
My favourite coffee shop, and it's not even a competition. It's a family run business that always has the best food and drinks. Every-time I walk in I am met with smile and it brightens my day. Ruby and Al (the owners) are incredible people and hosts.
Fresh muffins & cookies, relaxing atmosphere
Excellent coffee and tea; delicious sandwiches; relaxed cafe; I lose myself for several hours when I come here for a reset.
AMAZING COFFEE!!!
the people here are friendly an amazing to talk too.
Great local coffee and wine bar. If the weather's good it's nice to sit outside on the patio (which is dog friendly) and have a latte/beer/wine and some food. The owners are very friendly and welcoming.

I have been working in the discovery ridge for the past few weeks, and have "discovered" this little gem. The food is amazing! Fresh, and the portion to price ratio is on point, the cook and owners are very friendly, humorous and knowledgeable, and the server Amy is very kind, as well as swift on her feet. What more can you ask for!? I really recommend this place!
This is a wonderful space in my community where you can enjoy a meal, drink a coffee or drink of your choice, enjoy quiet time alone, visit with a friend, or chat with Ruby. The staff is friendly and welcoming and the food is delicious with everything prepared from scratch.I saw a Google Review comment regarding the staff not wearing gloves or providing hand sanitizer among other things. The fact is that regularly washing your bare hands offers more protection against catching Covid-19 than wearing gloves. Gloves can create a false sense of security and may in fact help spread the virus. Chefs should not wear gloves because it is not safe to wear them when working and again, hand washing is the safest protection. Javino's has made adjustments to allow for social distancing, there is hand sanitizer available, staff wear masks and wash their hands regularly (not to mention sanitizing the space in between customers). If you want to add some great food, lovely staff, and a feeling of community to your life, I'll see you there.
This place could have been great but none of the staff were wearing PPE... I was disappointed, concerned, and don't think I'll be coming back. There were zero extra precautions being taken to keep customers safe and keep things clean. The young lady taking our order had her mask off, was touching the inside of the coffee cups, counters, food, machines, her face, etc, with no sanitization. The kitchen staff had no masks on either or gloves while prepping the food. When I was handed my iced coffee, the barista had no gloves on and picked up the top of the straw (where you drink from) and stirred it, then handed it to me. Lastly, the lids for hot coffees are out for anyone to touch and grab... no sanitizer anywhere. I didn't see the staff sanitize or wash their hands once. Im all for supporting our local small businesses, especially right now with COVID, but this was just not impressive. I have felt comfortable at many other stores, restaurants, coffee shops, etc., because its clear they are doing their do-diligence and taking extra precautions; Javino needs to be doing their part.
Really good Coffee shop with nice tasting coffee and good menu. Loved the ambience and the concept of patio.
I've been here quite a few times in the past, and the staff has always been very friendly, and the food and coffee is great. I went in today to get one of their fantastic Americano's, but none of the patrons, and most importantly, none of the staff were wearing proper PPE (masks, gloves, etc), so I was out. Sorry for the poor review (it should be 5 stars), but safety first; No one is too cool to wear a mask, especially when preparing food or drink to the public.
