Tried a few dishes here, can honestly say they were all delicious. There is no doubt there is a lot of thought put into this menu. The service was also amazing, had a chef come by our table to make sure the experience was perfect. He was very sweet. Love this place and will be taking the time to come back.

I was here for the first and last time. The waiter didn't know the menu card, the company's automatic charged tip, when paying in cash, the waiter asked me whether to give disbursement to me or not.

My only regret about Jinbar is that I didn't come sooner! My Partner and I came here for Dinner on a Friday without a reservation and despite their anticipated busy evening schedule, we were seated right away. We sat next to the Kitchen, which, in most restaurants, is a less desirable location however watching Chef Jinhee Lee and her team work was absolutely awe-inspiring.The menu is curated with the finest of creativity and the attention to detail does not go unnoticed. I personally ordered the Short Rib Potato Croquettes and the Elote Flatbread and I cannot express just how much I enjoyed both of these dishes. And the little plum digestive that guests are offered after their meals just perfectly summed up a delightful experience! The portion sizes were perfect and the prices perfectly reflected that.I am already planning my next trip back here so I can explore more of the menu items! If you are looking for a restaurant to try out, come here. You will not be disappointed!

Update: JINBAR changed their menu recently so we tried their brussel sprouts, double fried chicken wings, beef bulgogi flatbread, smoked pork belly & steamed buns, and condensed milk soft serve. The pork belly was excellent - tender meat and the fat was nicely rendered so biting in did not feel greasy. The buns were soft and a bit crispy on the outside. The flatbread was a miss in that it didn't really taste like bulgogi and the other flavors were drowned out by too much cheese, which threw off the balance of bread to meat to fixins ratio. As a whole, the food was on the salty side, particularly the brussel sprouts. The soft serve was enjoyable. It was fragrant, not too sweet, and had a subtle milkiness. Overall quality was not as good when factoring in the price. The other main critique is that the portions are quite small for what you pay for but this isn't new from prior experiences here. For the price now, they aren't as worth it as before.Previous: We have ordered from JINBAR for a number of years now and they have been consistently tasty. On this occasion, we got the honey butter Korean fried chicken, half and half pizza (beef bulgogi and chips & corn), dill & garlic roasted cauliflower, and fries. The pizza dough is soft and the beef was soft/tender and marinated well. The fried chicken is crispy and not heavily sauced or battered. The meat itself was very juicy. The cauliflower was creamy and the dill was a good herb-y addition to the garlic butter flavor.Overall, JINBAR has consistently cooked their food well and have good flavor combinations. The price point is higher such that your portion size is not as good (for example, $15 for what is probably 1/10th of a cauliflower).

We went in for the first time not knowing what to expect. Our server, Sylvana was super helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and assisted a superb experience. The food was incredible, we got the tuna crudo, crispy mushrooms, beef short rib, the lime glazed chicken wings, and the twisted donuts. everything was amazing!

Been here many times over the years. Food is still great, but the new menu is disappointing. The chicken which would have seemed to have been the anchor dish has changed. No longer is it pieces oof chicken which are great to share, it is an entree with sides. Also, there is no description of the different flavours availavle on the new menu. Would also be nice to see the kimchee mac and cheese back. Side note, would be nice to see the owner show some interest in the patrons. It a competitive world out there and you are in the hospitality business, so be hospitable.

Just found out they’ve changed their menu and they don’t have the fried chicken options or the mushroom Pizza anymore (this was the literal best thing on the menu and akin to the mushroom pizza I had in Italy). Please bring them back!!

I've been wanting to check this restaurant out for a while. Had not much expectation but left extremely underwhelmed. The food was good but portion size for what you get is extremely small. $31 for 3 pieces of fried chicken comes with 2 sides is what the server shared. What came out was:1) chips2) 1/2 tsp of coleslawI really couldn't justify the price and left hungry. Feeling a bit misled with the pricing and portion sizes.Service was also off for the price point for this restaurant. It felt i was at a Chinese restaurant ready to serve myself. Table was not set and server just dropped the plates and cutlery down. I'm totally down for casual places but the price point of this restaurant, I expected a bit more.

Only been once before. Really enjoyed it so took my husband back this time. Was really disappointed to see the things I liked had been removed from the menu, including the mock tail I had last time. And I wish the skin on the chicken was removed or rendered before breading. Found it had an unpleasant texture, although the actual flavour was good. Didn't care for the waffle chips. Husband like his chicken sandwich so that's a win for someone who's hard to please.

Been to Jinbar many times! We want to revisit to have our favorite pizza to find out that they don't offer anymore. Food was tasty but on the small portion side perhaps we are too hungry and we went to other pizza joint to satisfy our craving's. I should have check the menu ahead.

Top chef jinhee created a great place with all of her fave comfort foods but also showcases her culinary talents in other dishes. Beautiful and comfortable space and a location that really isn't that difficult to get to. It should be high on your list of dining destinations. While there is some Korean influences, it's not really a Korean restaurant. But every bite is excellent.
