I organized a meet-up here recently. The wings were exceptional. My friend's burger was at least a 1/2 lb of meat. They only have Strongbow for cider which tells me whoever is in charge of ordering the liquor is not a cider drinker. They already sell other Village products so how about bringing in Village cider?
Our waitress, Kelli, was very friendly and there are probably regulars who go there partly just because of her. I would not hesitate to return!

JJ's is a local favorite. The food is tasty and portions are usually large. Not sure what happened this evening but my $17 Greek salad ended up being snack sized. It looks like the kitchen staff got distracted when filling the container. ?
Apparently, this is the only pub in Calgary that makes their incredible Gladiator shots with Sunny D!!! Very smooth. Saturday is $0.70 wing night!!! Thanks, Kyle. He's new, come and see him!!!

LOVE the warm, cozy, friendly atmosphere here! Truly, a sweet pub (no grungey bar thing, whatsoever!) that as a single, mature female made me feel right at home. Wonderful, old-fashioned service and easily accessible, too :).

Great food and staff, Eva is super friendly!
Had to request a different drink because the long island iced tea they made was half lemon juice and extremely sour. My friend ordered the chicken and dumplings soup which was so acidic, the broth tasted like vinegar, or perhaps that it had just gone bad. The only redeeming quality was the wings, which were only okay, thankfully we were there during 70 cent wings, because the $19 they have them listed for on the menu is absurd. I won't be back
