Ordered 2 fish and chip meals, 1 came with fries the other was just fish no fries, I asked why and was told they did me a favor by adding fries to 1, it was my fault for the way I ordered, never again.

We had the family deal tonight and it fed 2 adults and 2 teens and we had leftovers.Fish was very good. We got takeout, and everything was still hot and tasty when we sat down for dinner, so I'm guessing it would have been even better if we had it at the restaurant.Overall, great value. Very tasty, better than a lot of pricier restaurants we've been to for fish and chips. Will definitely be going back!!

I went to Joey's to check out the 2 for 1 deal. I thought I was getting a good deal. It was my first time there. The waitress offered a side, I didn't know we had to pay extra. She could have stated, it would cost more because I thought it was apart of the deal. Also, I asked for Calamari and she said "No", I told her it's fine because, I am willing to pay for it. The service could have been better. I also asked for a side of water with my pop but did not get it. Overall, the food was good, but I left feeling ripped off. I would not recommend it, hopefully the waitress will be more upfront on what you are paying for.

We (mom, dad and two hungry teens) went last night for Tuesday's BOTTOMLESS FISH AND CHIPS. Hadn't been there since before Covid. Taylor kept the food coming and it was amazing. The batter on the pollock was just right...not too heavy, not greasy and wonderfully crisp. Big pieces! And everything (except the coleslaw ?) came out HOT. We totally enjoyed the meal. And all for $19 each which is the same price as the 3-piece meal. We got our money's worth and more.Apparently Thursday is BOTTOMLESS FISH TACO day which sounds great, too. We may have to wander back over there soon. The place is under new management as of a couple of months ago. It's clean, bright, and freshly painted. It would have been nice to see it busier. I think a lot of businesses have had a hard time recovering from the shutdowns during Covid. So if you have a hankering for something from the sea, I would highly recommend you check them out. (For the record, no, we are not affiliated with them in any way. Just happy customers.)Joey's has partnered with Skip and Uber Eats (I think those were the two) so that's coming soon. And the new owners are just in the process of getting their liquor licence, so that's in the works as well. Thanks, Taylor for your great service. We'll be back.

My friends and I went for lunch. It was a mistake. We were the first 3 in there for lunch on Thursday. 2 of us ordered the all you can eat fish tacos and 1 ordered the Buddha bowl with shrimp. We were told the food would be ready in 10 minutes, almost 40 minutes later I had to tell them we had to leave to get back to work, which is when our food started to come out. The excuse we were given was that it was busy. Again we were the first 3 people in there and by the time we left, there was one other table of 2 people, and a table of 3 people that had just walked in before we left.My friend had asked for no chipotle sauce on her tacos- it was on them. The Buddha bowl my other friend ordered was incredibly small. Like small small- for $18. For reference you can go next door to chopped leaf or freshie or whatever and get the same thing for $16 and it is like 10 times bigger.Anyways, the Buddha bowl was inedible. She could tell everything has been frozen and heated up quickly which turned it to mush.My other friend and I didn’t have time to order anymore tacos so we asked to change the orders from the all you can eat to the street tacos. We still lost money as the street tacos come with 3 tacos and we were only served 2. The order of halloumi fries I ordered for $12 were so salty, I could only eat 2. They also withheld the order of regular fries that come with the tacos. They comped the Buddha bowl but we paid for everything else. All in all I personally paid $30 for garbage. And my friend paid for her tacos as well. The ladies working were very nice but unfortunately that will not be enough to have us back. This was also my first time at a Joey’s restaurant. Yikes.

We visited this location for the first time. The food was phenomenal. We loved the service we had - was very personable and present. Noticed that the staff was really going above and beyond to cater to customers. Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant was clean. Quick service. You’ve got to have the garlic butter shrimp! We will absolutely be back

While my fish and chips were tasty. The portion size has shrunk to a point I don't think I will ever come back. 2pieces of fish are now the size of what one used to be one. It was pathetic and have gotten larger portions else where for the same price I paid.

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat fish and chips but I am very disappointed, the size of the fish was reduced to less than half and the portion of chips is also much smaller than what they used to give before. I think I will never return to this place, it is too expensive for the amount of food. you can better restaurants, better food and portions according to the price. I went to eat and left hungry

It has been awhile since I've been to this place but I was in the area so I decided to have fish for my lunch. Not as tasty as it once was and the portions are very small. Even my pop was diluted.I won't be back . It's expensive for what you get and lacks quality flavor.
