Stopped at Johns as I was looking for breakfast somewhere near 16th Avenue north… What I would say about this place is that it was good, well prepared food for a fair price. It’s nothing really special but I definitely have no complaints about the food or service. A great neighborhood restaurant that is not a “Corporate Chain” and it family owned & operated. Would definitely go back for breakfast or lunch if I happen to be nearby again…

John's is like an upscale truck stop. Not fancy inside, but the foods amazing. Went for late breakfast on a Thursday and there was a lineup. It was worth the wait. Instead of spending money on a big fancy sign, like their neighbor, The 4th Stop, they keep the prices reasonable for quality food. Great little place for some great food.

The food is consistently delicious, the family who own the are always friendly, welcoming, and you can feel the family vibes when you walk in. And they may be the only ones around who offer a half order of eggs Benedict!
We are regulars. So much so, that we have often declined breakfast or brunch with friends at other places so we could enjoy John's that day! Wendy and John have created a great thing here. Food is always consistently good and quick. Wendy is a lovely human who, even when busy will take a minute to see how you're doing.
