While the service was great, the food did not live up to the hype and since we tried “the bomb” (their signature offering), that was definitely disappointing.We’ll be back to try some other options, but we’re not hopeful that it will be any better.
A small place nestled in the furthest, southern tip of Calgary. Jon Smith subs was quite the surprise for me when I walked in during lunch rush. The modern aesthetic of the restaurant is not shadowing the delicious simple ingredients that make up their amazing food.When we first entered the building, we were greeted with a smile and friendly, professional service. I got a Turkey sub delivered to me through Uber eats, and I am not disappointed. This is the best sub I’ve ever had. Way better than subway or Mr Sub by farrrrr! I usually get a 12” from subway cause I find there’s not much to them, but with John Smith subs I easily could’ve gone with a 6” as they are jam packed with meat. I’ll for sure be ordering again. My new go to! (I go to subway at least once a week, I will now be going to John smith).
