Unfortunately, this has become a recurring issue at the Joyce on 4th. A $10.99 Guinness (before tax) was poured back-to-back with excessive head and no apparent server oversight. What makes this worse is being prompted to tip 18% calculated after tax, despite service that doesn’t meet basic standards. In the context of an already excessive tipping culture in Canada, this feels especially unreasonable. After tax and tip, the cost climbs quickly for a poorly poured pint.

Great service the waitresses are so friendly. Wonderful dog friendly patio, brought ice water for our pups without us having to ask. Really relaxed atmosphere, great happy hour food and was pleasantly surprised to find live music inside the pub! Would recommend and come back again f.
The patrons at this pub are from the immediate local community. Lots of people knew each other and were chatting and friendly. Nachos were good and beer was good too. It was a great patio day.
