JPs Indian Bistro

My friends and I visited this restaurant for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and we were thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The service was equally outstanding, with our server (the friendly one with glasses—sorry for not catching your name!) going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. His warm and attentive approach truly elevated the entire experience.
It's also conveniently located close to our home, so we'll definitely be returning often and ordering takeaways in the future. Highly recommend this gem—five well-deserved stars!

I was in Evanston and was looking for a place to grab lunch and found JPs. The food and service were amazing. I'm gluten intolerant and had a huge selection of food to choose from. The portions were also excellent. Plus, I have leftovers! Would highly recommend. :)

It has been 6 years since I had a poor experience at JPs (and my subsequent one star review). Since then this restaurant has earned a reconsideration and a new rating. I started to again frequent JPs about a year ago, and the service has consistently been beyond reproach. I must say that this is mostly due to having the owner present in the dining room (actually running the entire show). Now the star of the show is the food. Absolutely gorgeous! The Chicken and Lamb Biryani are a must, coupled with the Sweet and Sour Eggplant makes for a perfect meal. We look forward to our next visit.

Took my very Nigerian mum to this place and she absolutely enjoyed the meals, like I’ve always enjoyed them too. The food is tasty! The customer service is amazing! The pricing is good!

Food was terrible. I ordered butter chicken and naan — it had no taste, the chicken was tough and hard to chew, and the naan was burnt. It felt like a complete waste of money.

First time there today. Good food, good service. I bought a chicken biryani for takeout and they forgot to include the raita. Would have been a nice compliment. We'll, next time.

Try the Kadhai chicken for sure! It’s awesome.

This is the hands down best Indian restaurant in all of Calgary it is made with love and the okra is the best. The owner is kind caring and just amazing I am at a lost of words on how good JPs Indian bistro is!!
