As a senior it is incredible important to me to see the youth of today carry themselves in such a polite manner, not only did he greet me, but he offered to help me with whatever I needed. Staff are always lovely, patient and helpful. Cute little spot where you get to sit amongst the fresh fruit, and close to Fish Creek and the Reservoir (south). Very easy access from the ring road.Every treat time Happy Cup is #1! My favourites: Avocado-coconut with lychee jelly, Taro-coconut with coconut jelly, orange-pineapple with strawberry boba. Next time I’m trying pineapple-coconut with coconut jelly, and the time after that, watermelon with lychee jelly/boba. I don’t believe it’s possible to make a bad choice off the menu. “I’ve been getting the Vanilla Matcha from here twice a week or more for almost a year now — and they are always made to perfection! Never any fruit chunks left in the smoothie, and if I ask for protein they don’t forget to add it. This store is also a lot cleaner than some of the Jugo Juice / Booster Juice stores I’ve seen. Management is very sweet too, asking me about my day.

“I had low expectations of finding a good milk tea store in Calgary. Luckily, I was near Chinatown! This restaurant’s cute, it’s like a cozy mini milk tea spot. The Totoro decorations enhanced its cute aesthetic. I didn’t get her name, but the lady who took my order and made my drink was friendly and nice. I asked her to choose a drink for me and she made me Hong Kong Milk Tea.

There are many options to choose from and I wish we stayed in this area longer just so I could try more flavors. The pearls/boba tasted good too, it has a unique taste that I can’t describe. My brothers never try other milk tea flavors other than Thai Tea, but they tried mine and bought some too. We love her recommendation! Definitely a place I would Try Again if I visit Calgary once more.“

Tsujiri’s matcha is strong, smooth, and flavourful. For years, the matcha soft serve ice cream in the waffle cone was my go-to treat - until I finally tried the houjicha (roasted matcha) soft serve - which is so incredibly delicious - making my eyes roll back into my head with pleasure. Hubby loves the houjicha soft serve in the zuzu citron float; it’s so refreshingly good! We sometimes indulge in the Tsujiri shaved ice just to mix things up. Another staple is their fresh, soft, and fluffy matcha daifuku (mochi) which is the best we have ever had - a must try.

“I recently visited Super Smash Café for the first time while in town from BC, and I had a fantastic experience! The space is well-organized with a great variety of games to choose from, all at very reasonable prices. Armando (apologies if I got the spelling wrong) was an excellent host—super friendly and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The food was also a pleasant surprise, really tasty and satisfying.

The only thing I’d suggest is adding more fans or AC, as it got a bit warm inside, but honestly, that didn’t take away from the overall experience. I highly recommend checking out Super Smash Café if you're in the area—it’s definitely a spot worth visiting!“
