We went for a date night, as someone with a shellfish allergy it’s worrying to eat at places that have dishes that can make me very sick. The staff here were supper accommodating.
For the food, 10/10 very well balanced flavours, perfect temperatures for hot and cold foods. Sides and sauces were on point. As well the cocktails were next level perfectly balanced
We will forsure be returning in the future!

Went there with a colleague for lunch and it was honestly kind of mid. The service was good. The sushi was quite expensive for what it was and not anything special. Tasted a bit like food court or supermarket sushi. The miso soup was good. Don't think I'll be back

I had dinner at Kabuku in Calgary recently after seeing reviews. I tried their scallop sashimi, Bay Scallop Roll, and Yellow Bullet J Roll. Unfortunately, the only thing that stood out was scallop sashimi as they were fresh and sweet. The Bay Scallop Roll was too oily and saucy, even with the orange…The Yellow Bullet Roll just felt like a regular roll…I’d give it 6.5/10

I think this is one of the best sushi restaurants in Calgary. Always fresh and service. They are a bit more expensive than most, but still a better option than other nearby sushi spots. Take out is also good, and quick prep.

I was surprised that the Google rating is at 4.5 after my recent visit for lunch. The food is just right at the T&T food court level and it seems to be severely overpriced for the quality. I just ordered some sashimi, several nigiri and I would say the sashimi is not that fresh. The nigiri is so soggy and small for the rice ball while the fish on top of it is thin. I paid 47 dollars before tips for this little dish and didn't even feel full at all so I have to order something else at a nearby restaurant. Do not recommend.

Our go to sushi place! Rice is always perfectly seasoned and soft, and the fish always tastes of high quality
