This past weekend, I had the privilege to meet Kalia, from Kakes & Kanvas.
Kalia was an absolute Ray of Sunshine .
Not only was she in the wedding party.
She also baked and decorated the Wedding Cake and all the cupcakes for dessert, here on site.
She is an incredible person.
I am so happy I had the honour to meet her and work with her for a bit.

I set out on an adventure to find the best cake maker in Calgary, Thanks to @crackmacs and their following I was sent in the direction of Kalia and Kakes & Kanvas.
I was looking for a cake for my sons first birthday as well as a smash cake. I wanted dino theme and I did provide a base picture for a little bit of influence. I picked the flavor and filling and left the rest up to Kalia, and can I just say SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT.
