100% recommend getting your wedding cake made here! It was everything my spouse and I wanted! It turned out not only beautiful but also delicious! We got the Crème brûlée flavour and everyone loved it! They were also fantastic to deal with while deciding what exactly we wanted! We also got them to deliver the cake to the venue and it made it so much less stressful!

I emailed K and K and asked for a specific cake with certain color and design. I got the cutest 8 insh with the exact color i wanted. Now i did order a simple coated cake without anything and i had some decoration that i added to it, but man was that simple cake so yummy! Flavoured and filled with delicious custard cream. The buttercream coat was thin and not overpowering ( you know cuz i didn’t want to eat BUTTER). The order and design request were easy and delivery was smooth and quick. Here are some pics. Again, i ordered the cake in the box and i got exactly or even more than what i ordered.
Oh and price wise, i was quoted by a home baker way more than what i paid for a 5 inch cake without anything no buttercream design, flavour of cake, custard or even delivery. Safe to say i will always be ordering from k and k if i keep living in this city!

When it came to looking for a vendor for our wedding cake, Kakes & Kanvas came highly recommended and I was not worried at all because I already knew Kali would do a phenomenal job. We ordered our wedding cake from Kali last year and one of the things we decided to do was freeze half our cake to eat it on our one year anniversary, which was this past weekend. We just want to say how incredible the cake is, even after frozen for a year (still so delicious and flavourful). Kali is so talented and incredible to work with. She was able to take my vision for a cake and make it come true. She was also there to set up the wedding cake and add the finishing touches on the day. We can’t wait to order more cakes from you Kali !

Such a beautiful hidden shop. We visited them for yyc hot chocolate fest and not only was their hot chocolate beyond incredible their baked goods are beautiful and delicious. The owners are amazing and very personable and i think anyone who loves sweets should visit them at least once! Thanks again guys 🫶

We recently tried some Halloween-themed cupcakes from this bakery, and while they looked fantastic, the taste didn’t meet expectations. The decorations were impressive, but the icing was too hard and overly sweet. The cake itself was unfortunately on the dry side. The Nutella filling was a nice touch, but overall I found the cupcakes underwhelming.
