I got delivery from here via Uber Eats. I hate writing a negative review, but in this case it’s deserved. I ordered sichuan chicken (requested hot/spicy) and hot and sour soup. The chicken dish had barely any chicken in it…what the heck?! It was mostly mushrooms, and it was barely spicy at all. I’m fairly certain it had no sichuan pepper in it. The hot and sour soup was neither hot nor sour. Everything was quite bland. Sadly, if you love sichuan food, this is not where you should order from.

This is one of my three favorite Chinese restaurants. This is Sichuan style (usually spicy). The food is not very spicy but the taste is great. The service is great and friendly.Spicy stired crabs, homemade dumplings, and mixed seafood with sizzling rice are great!

I was so excited to finally find pan fried wontons considering most places in Calgary only offer deep fried. I ordered on UberEats and was so sad to open the container and find just that - hard, deep fried little wontons. The outside was dry and fully deep fried but the inside had raw bundled up wrapper dough. Extremely misleading - you should really change your menu to reflect what they actually are. The search continues.
the stir fried crabs are so good! the owner is so friendly and we had a great experience for lunch. will definitely be coming back for our birthday or special occasion. we added rice cakes, udon, and cabbage and we really recommend any of the hot pot add ons.Parking: limited parking up front but street parking available

My recent experience at Kam Han was extremely disappointing, warranting only one star due to the poor communication and unacceptable behavior displayed by the staff, particularly the owner.I had placed a specific request when ordering, asking for half of the soup to be taken out and the other half to be served at the dine-in table. To my dismay, upon receiving my order, the entire soup was brought to the dine-in area. When I politely questioned this discrepancy, I was met with an incredibly unprofessional response.The lady, who identified herself as the boss, was dismissive and outright refused to accommodate my reasonable request. What shocked me even more was her lack of transparency at the time of ordering. Instead of communicating any limitations, she insisted that her say was final, displaying an arrogant and inflexible attitude.Attempting to avoid conflict, I calmly questioned why this information wasn't conveyed during the ordering process. Instead of addressing the concern, the lady proceeded to chase me to the door, yelling in front of other customers. This behavior was not only unprofessional but also completely uncalled for, leaving me feeling disgusted and embarrassed for a situation that I was not responsible for.In conclusion, the poor communication, refusal to accommodate a simple request, and the disrespectful behavior exhibited by the owner made my visit to Kam Han a regrettable experience. I cannot recommend this establishment based on the treatment received, and I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service in the future.
