Definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in town! My go to anytime I’m in the south.

We went on the recommendation of a friend, and now can’t stop telling everyone we know about what an amazing experience we had. Everything we ordered was so delicious, service was fantastic, and we didn’t feel like we were sitting right on top of the other guests like you do at some restaurants these days. Our sever paced our courses out perfectly, giving us lots of time to chat and digest, and we never felt that we needed to rush through our meal in order for them to turn over the table for new guests. We will be back for sure!

Just recently came here for a date for the first time, and I absolutely loved it. Came during opening so it wasn’t too busy. Food was amazing, so was the portion sizing. Service was excellent, and our server gave us outstanding recommendations. Would love to come here again with friends ! 10/10

The tapas and drink selection are phenomenal! The chorizo and Serrano with manchego were life changing - or as life changing as food can get. Even the grilled halloumi was fantastic.

Great experience! Staff was very friendly, professional and attentive. Beautiful atmosphere. We ordered a few sharing plates and all of it was delicious! My favourite was the beef tartare, I really love that it’s served with baby romaine as opposed to the usual baguette or crisps that most places do. The scallops served with dates were so good too. I’ll definitely be back to try more!

YMMV but thoughts:
1) Pork Belly: The sauce was overwhelming. Also missing the point of pork belly - the slices need to be thicker to really emphasize the fattiness.
2) Lamb: Great! Super tender and flavourful.
3) Chermoula Salad: Missing key chermoula flavours, and felt the herbs were too inconsistent. Some bites had no herbs, some bites were all herb.
4) Potato Gnocchi: Yum! Really strong mushroom flavour which I enjoyed.
5) Chickpea focaccia: Never had chickpea focaccia so no notes.. but enjoyed it.
6) Popcorn Octopus: Thought the batter could be crispier and octopus bigger. Because it was too small, it was missing the key chewy octopus texture.

Absolutely wonderful food probably the best I have tasted in decades. It's not cheap fare however worth it even worth twice the cost.
When I am back in Calgary I will for sure go back there.

Good food nice atmosphere.
Halloumi was crazy good and we loved the lamb!!
My husband and I reserved a spot for our wedding anniversary. We LOVED the food and will definitely be back. We ordered the pork belly, zucchini latke, Brussels sprouts, pear endive salad, halibut, a side of honey beignets (special request) and the tres leches. Sadly our server wasn’t the most attentive. She did accommodate all our asks which we appreciate but we got a very “nonchalant / take it or leave it” kind of attitude from her. Additionally my cocktail was taken from me with two full sips left in it. She was gone before I could say anything. We were hoping for a “happy anniversary” at the least since we booked our reso with that note attached but didn’t get any acknowledgment what so ever. Hoping our next experience is better because we will be back for the food. We raved about it so much that our in-laws went for dinner the next night and had much better service. Hoping this will be our experience too.

My husband and I went to celebrate our 7 year wedding anniversary. We made a reservation for a 4:30 PM dinner (we have little kids) so we were actually the only people in the restaurant for the first half hour. Beautifully decorated inside, giving off cozy romantic vibes. Nice staff- it would’ve been nice if they had acknowledged our anniversary, as I left a note in our reservation, but that is a minor detail.
Off the Tapas menu we ordered the fried halloumi, pork belly and chickpea focaccia dishes. The fried halloumi was delicious. The pork belly was definitely tough and not very soft, but the flavour was good and the chickpea focaccia was good and came with a nice tomato feta dip.
For small plates, we ordered the pear and endive salad, the Kofta, and the duck confit dishes. They were all excellent!
For drinks, my husband ordered a red wine and I had the white sangria. We both loved our choices.
All in all, we really enjoyed our experience at Kama and I will definitely be recommending it to friends.
