Kashew Bakery

There’s no actual bakery — it’s just Lina’s Italian Market & Cafe, and they carry a some items from Kashew Bakery, though they’re relabeled under Lina’s. Many Kashew items do not have ingredient labels, and the ones that do often list palm oil. The tarts seem to be palm oil-free.

Ordered the chocolate ganache cake for my birthday and it was so delicious! I’ve tried a few more of their baked goods since and they never dissapoint - I am a big fan of the cinnamon buns and the chocolate walnut bar

We stopped at the listed address expecting a vegan bakery. Instead, we found a location of Italian grocery chain Lina’s. After walking through the aisles of meat and cheese, we found the bakery corner. There were shelves with some pre packaged baked goods labelled as Kashew Bakery, along with a few to go items in a nearby fridge. I expected more from a listing identified as a bakery. From what we saw, this is a grocery store that carries a few vegan items.

The place to order vegan baked goods. We ordered a birthday cake and pie and both were absolutely delicious. Our guests were delighted. So friendly and easy to deal with. We will most definitely be back.

As a vegan baking enthusiast myself, I often struggle to find quality baked goods or cakes in Calgary. Kashew bakery is simply the best, even on a global level! Nothing I've ever had anywhere else comes close to what this bakery makes. I read somewhere that the owner is a German master baker, which explains a lot. You can tell how the ingredients are carefully selected and crafted into a delicacy that anyone - whether vegan, gluten-free, or omnivore, can enjoy. They harmonize and not only provide the right texture but also full flavors, something that can be a challenge when it comes to baking plant-based. My absolute favorite are the Almond Croissants, they're scrumptions and I'm so glad they're sold at all Lina's locations these days.

Ordered strawberry cakes for a party. They were absolutely delicious! Everybody from our guests asked where these cakes are from and were surprized to find out these are vegan. And the price is reasonable.Absolutely recommend these place!

All of their baked goods are incredibly delicious.
I left a message on Kashew’s phone and it was returned immediately. This person took a great deal of time explaining more about their bakery and how I could get more bakery goods. She was a joy to talk to very professional and helpful.

Love that Kashew Bakery is fully vegan. The Sticky Brioche Cinnamon Buns were amazing! We picked them up to go and enjoyed them at home, warmed up for about 45 seconds in the microwave. Delicious!

Ordered a gluten free strawberry cake, it was so good! Also very reasonably priced. Staff were also very friendly. I will be back! Thank you ?

We ordered a black forest birthday cake for a close friend. I was blown away at how good it was, considering I am used to non-vegan baking. It was delicious, and has me believing vegan baking is worth exploring.

Without a doubt the best bakery I have ever been to in my life, hands down. Everything I have tried has been sublime, including the cookies, artisan breads, cakes and the Christmas Yule Log was life changing. One of the best desserts we have ever had. The staff are the sweetest,nicest and generous people you can imagine. We order from this bakery for every important event in our lives. If you havn't been here, come ASAP and thank me later ?

I had doubts on how a vegan cake would taste knowing through other precious experiences, it was only ...ok. nothing spectacular. Kashew bakery is unlike any vegan bakery I've ever tried - moist, delicious and still dense. Ordered the lemon cake online (a very easy straight forward process) and paid online as well. The lemon taste was super strong but just enough that you do taste it and isn't sour. The cake itself also isn't too sweet (where it feels artificial). Everything was balanced just right.Visited this spot bc as they are vegan, it is a dairy free whip cream they use. Everything tasted wonderful and just as luxurious. The pricing was VERY reasonable as well.Located inside Lina's market - go to the dessert pastry counter and ask for the cake pick up. They also have things available in store but not the large cakes. Highly recommend coming here and ordering. Super friendly service as well.
