Really incredible experience. The main barista was very helpful and provided excellent customer service and managed to maintain quite a calm atmosphere.
The drinks were delightful. The atmosphere was top-notch and very calm. As I've heard from someone else, they do actually have live music performances occasionally. And the food was spectacular. We had the soup and it was delicious to say the least.

This is one of the very few places in Calgary’s downtown that are actually open late which is perfect for when I get off work and still want to enjoy myself. The dessert and pastry selection is wonderful and the food is delicious. However the seating isn’t the best and there’s one one outlet in the entire restaurant that we can use, which is annoying especially if a lot of people come to work here on their laptops, it seems like we’re all waiting for the back two tables to open up so we can plug in our stuff. Just come with everything charged and you won’t have that problem.

Absolutely terrible experience. I visited this coffee shop with a friend the other day—we ordered tea and a slice of cake. On the way back to the table, the cake slipped off the plate and hit the floor. Total accident. I went back to the counter to get another slice, expecting at least some basic decency—maybe a replacement, or even a small discount. Nope. Nothing. Just a cold stare and full charge again. Zero hospitality, zero customer care. If you’re looking for warmth, kindness, or even just basic human decency with your overpriced tea and dry cake, look elsewhere.
Just went here recently and I really liked the atmosphere in the Cafe. They have lots of great options for food and drinks like coffee, etc. They have lots of seating options in there and lots of space in there. I tried the cappuccino and it was so yummy, and it had a really nice design on it.

People in Calgary should know how good the food is at Kawa. We've enjoyed the borsht, grilled cheese sandwich, veggie omelette. It's as tasty with Door Dash as in the cafe. Please keep up the good work Kawa!

Great cafe to go to if you need good food, good drinks (alcohol included), and are in the downtown Calgary area! The pasta rose (and other pasta options, which my friends had) were solid options we had for dinner while doing some work. We also saw some flyers for the Jazz Saturday’s which we would definitely go back for ! Also love that this place is open till pretty late so if you need a place to work after a late shift, I would recommend going here :)
