My husband and I love Thai food so on our quest to find good Thai food on 17th ave, we landed here straight off of google reviews, and we weren’t disappointed! The decor and the vibe, very warm. The staff, very friendly and welcoming. We ordered singha beer, and we liked it. Our server even taught us how to pronounce singha the correct way. For appetizers (see photo) we ordered chicken satay, and it was delicious; the peanut sauce it came with stole the show. I could have it as a soup if it were on the menu! For mains (forgot to take a photo as we were very hungry) we went with classic pad thai koong sod with chicken, and again, amazing flavour and portion size. We would definitely be back to try more items off the menu!

Fantastic food! We got the short rib masaman curry, green curry, drunken noodles, and the basil stir fry. Brilliant flavor in everything. Best Thai I’ve had in years.

I ordered for pick up. I chose this place based on a glowing yelp review from a fellow SoCal resident traveling to Calgary. I am flabbergasted by the high reviews. I’m sorry to say, but this is by far the worst Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to. The pad Thai was without flavor and was soupy. I thought pad Thai was suppose to be a dry noodle dish and not a soup. The packaged pad Thai from Costco offers a better dining experience. The pad see ew was better and had a hint of Thai flavor/spices. The green curry came watery and tasted as such. Much akin to flavored “essence water” with a slice of strawberry to give that hint of taste. Thankfully I forgot to order rice as the “curry” would have made it taste like light green flavorless congee. The pineapple fried rice tasted like dry yesterday’s leftover which was overcooked in the microwave by several minutes. I am quite sad to leave a poor review but after eating rather than feeling full and content(doesn’t take much as I am not a “foodie”) I was left appalled- like upset I actually ingested the food. This place does not offer authentic Thai food - Probably more aimed at those with duller palates.
Did I get the toned down version because I chose the pickup option? I will never know as I will never go back. My recommendation is to skip this place. Don’t end up upset after eating.
4 out of 5 for the mango sticky rice though- for the 1 star rating.
Service was fine - ordered 5 dishes and was ready for pickup in 15 mins (probably should have been a red flag- can’t see how good food is cooked that fast)
Beautiful looking restaurant.

I visited this place after receiving recommendations from various friends. Clean tables and friendly staff response made me more fond of this place. The food was excellent enough. In particular, the soup recommended by the staff was so delicious. I'll visit you again with my friends soon. Definitely recommendation.
Just picked up 2 bowls of Tom Kha spicy and sour coconut soup and it’s everything but a soup. This is literally watered down and warmed up coconut milk out of a can, with 4 pieces of mushrooms and 2 cubes of tomato (?!) and 3 thumb size pieces of chicken. Absolutely no flavour.
To compare, I also attached a picture of a thai coconut soup from Sunterra (ceramic bowl) I got earlier in the day (currently fighting a cold) and it blows this out of the water!
$11 for the Sunterra bowl and $7 for this…and it shows. How does a western grocery store make a more authentic Thai dish than an actual Thai place?
Best Thai food (in my opinion).
It's the best for the price range. Yes, you can get cheaper but it won't taste as good!
I have tried every item on the Appetizers list and can't pick a favorite.
Find an occasion to go, and then GO!
Amazing experience. Everything was outstanding. Best Thai food in Calgary.

Pad Thai So Good, I’d Time Travel for It
I stumbled into this little gem on a late-night walk, half-expecting to be turned away since they were minutes from closing. Instead, they welcomed me in like I was an old friend who just beat the clock in some kind of delicious food heist.
Five minutes later—FIVE—I had a steaming plate of Pad Thai in front of me. And listen, I’ve had my fair share of Pad Thai, but this? This was next level. Noodles with the perfect chew, sauce that hit every note from tangy to umami to just the right kick of heat, and the kind of balance that makes you rethink every mediocre takeout version you’ve ever had.
The best part? The staff. You can tell when people actually care about what they’re serving, and the owner? The man’s got passion. He’s not just making food—he’s creating edible joy.
Would I come back? No. I’d run back. I’d fight the laws of time and space to experience that first bite again. If you’re debating where to eat, consider this your sign. Get the Pad Thai. Thank me later.
Cozy place, great service
One of (if not THE) best Thai spots in the city! Perfect for a date night. The staff warmly greeted us and recognized us. Wish I could stop in more often!
