This is our go-to sushi spot in Calgary - mostly due to their excellent aburi rolls and sushi selections. The fish is always fresh and high quality, and we love the accompanying sauces that pair with each roll. Aside from aburi, hubby is a fan of the Omega roll because of the salmon roe.

This year, there was noticeable shrinkflation with substantially less pieces offered in each roll; however the quality and taste of ingredients make up for it. I once ordered the scallop hand cone, but I found it to be very overpriced for the size. Thus, I stick to their aburi and special rolls.

We usually get delivery from this location, and it’s great! I occasionally order take out from the store. Don’t expect to dine in at this location as it is designed for take out and delivery only.

Went to Kibo Sushi with my friend for our supper tonight. Even though this is our first they are really friendly and kind as well. Sushi was perfect tasted. Would like to pick up or order next time Forsure!

It's so delicious!!! I ordered through pickup today, and the person at the counter who answered the phone was really friendly. He spoke very nicely and I felt better when I went to pick up the food. Thank you for the service as well. I came home and ate the food, and the visuals were amazing and it was really delicious. I should buy it often. It was good.

We had Kibo Sushi for our corporate lunch catering and they were amazing. I was able to order smoothly and they were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Very easy to talk to and was attentive until the end of delivery. They delivered on time and they even helped me set it up.

Best sushi in downtown

This is my go-to junk foody sushi takeout spot. Not really a sitting-down restaurant, though I think they do have some booths.

Sushi is very fusion, non-traditional. They do things like deep-fried futomaki rolls (which are excellent) and sushi in spicy mayo sauce (also excellent). They even have pizza sushi, which I haven't been brave enough to try.

My only gripe is that the takeout pickup time estimates are often off. Ordering online, it'll always say something like "pickup in 30 minutes", but I'll often get a text 15 minutes later saying "your sushi is ready", and then I have to rush to pick it up and get it home while the hot stuff is still hot and the cold stuff is still cold. Never had food be ready late though, so that's good.
