I love this place but the portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and smaller. The side of fries that I got last time were tiny, maybe 10-12 fries in total? I know the cost of everything is going up but please try and keep portions reasonable size.

Cannot rate the food because I did not have any. I just stopped for a cold brew and sat at the bar on a comfortable stool. The atmosphere is quietly beautiful and heritage is embedded in the woodwork and decor. The back bar is well stocked with aged and blended alike. I used to play soccer in my time so the post about them being the home of the Calvary Footballers was a welcome surprise. I hope to go back in the near future.

Poor selection on the menu. Bad service... No. Especially terrible service to be honest.

This was my very first time coming here, and I have to say I was beyond impressed, especially with Mia. She is such an incredible lady and really stood out right away. Even with a packed and busy bar, she somehow managed to stay calm and on top of everything. At one point, she caught a wasp, handled the situation when it stung someone, cleaned up the mess, and still made sure every single person was looked after with a smile. Talk about true boss-girl vibes!
On top of the amazing service, I ordered the fish and chips, and it could not have been better. The food came out quickly, was piping hot, and cooked to absolute perfection — crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. It’s not often you get service and food that both exceed expectations, but this place nailed it.
I highly, highly recommend stopping by if you haven’t already. Between the fantastic staff, great atmosphere, and delicious food, I’ll definitely be coming back soon.
