I have never been here not intoxicated so its hard to say how good it is but clearly the atmosphere is a 5 star.
Should be really nice once the renovations are completed
I will be going back so many times for their weekend brunch. The Irish breakfast was amazing!!
Nice and cozy bar i love this place👍👍
Fish and chips are pretty good and glad to see 0 alcohol Guiness but why call yourself a Irish pub and have literally no Irish food? Not even a Guiness flavored something
We had the best server ever! She was friendly and gave recommendations
Classic Irish pub and large portions. Food was priced more than reasonable. Will definitely be back.
My date and I had such great service from Kate at Kilkenny that I had to take the time to write a review. She was she was so pleasant, professional and personable! Sometimes you get the pleasure of having a server with great timing, one who recognizes the need for privacy but is quick to make sure you have what you need. Thank you again Kate! “The kids are alright!”
The Kilkenny !What can I say a beautiful old tavern that has such personality you can’t help but love it. The whole process begins with the head mananger Kirstie ! What an amazing person who works her butt off but honestly never forgets to say Hi to all the regulars and most everyone in the bar . Amazing Job Miss Kirstie we have such a great time here keep up the good work! This is how a pub should be ran!
Great neighbourhood pub.
Go-to place for dates or just getting a drink after a rough day.
Hearty food, classic cocktails, good beer selection with seasonal sours.
Services can get a bit slow when they’re really busy, but yapping with the guys makes time fly.

Had the fish & chips (halibut) for $26 my coleslaw and Caesar salad (substituted for the chips) were both inedible—way too much mayo for the coleslaw and the salad was over dressed and soggy. Mentioned it to the server so she could tell the kitchen and ordered some fries because I was still hungry. Had to pay for everything—upgrade on salad and the side fries. Yikes.
Kilkenny is a good local pub that is almost always busy. Great place for a pint. Staff are pleasant and friendly.
If you graduated from UofC without going to kilks you missed out. Michelle is the best server
Monday here is wing night 49 cent. The size of the wing was a little small but delicious. I wanted to eat pretzels but couldn't because they were sold out, and the beer was delicious. Most of all, the staff was so friendly. The atmosphere is also very nice.
Really good cheese steak sandwich. Good drinks, good atmosphere. Waitress was amazing but busy. Popular place
