This is hands down my favourite neighbourhood pub. From the moment you walk in, Krista, Sean, and the entire staff make you feel right at home. They are always attentive, kind, and genuinely make you feel valued as a customer, something you do not find everywhere.
The food here is excellent across the board. Their happy hour specials are a steal, and the food specials are always worth coming back for. With two wing nights each week, you cannot go wrong. The wings are always perfectly done and priced right. Honestly, everything on the menu is solid, and it is clear they put effort into consistency and quality. They even have their own local beer, 2515, brewed just for them, which is a must try if you are a beer fan.
The atmosphere is exactly what you want in a neighbourhood pub, warm, welcoming, and lively. Saturday nights with live bands are always a highlight, and if you are into sports, the large TV screens make it a fantastic spot to catch a football game with friends.
All in all, this place strikes the perfect balance between great food, great service, and a laid back but fun vibe. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Whether you are a regular or just stopping in for the first time, you will feel like you belong.
Had a great night last Friday in our first time at Kilt & Caber!!! Best food and drinks in SE, loved their cold tasty beer and enjoyed the place! Definitely the best bar in SE Calgary!!

Service can be good, been here many times where it usually decent sometimes exceptional, once was very just ok. Food is fun pub fare and most is pretty good. Great if you are looking for cozy vibes, somewhere to have some pints and niblets or even great for full meals. Well and of course for sports there are plenty of screens. Will say everytime there people seem to enjoy it. Been going for years here just never knew it has an amazing history being a founding pub for the area and honouring McKenzie Town wonderfully decades later.

My wife and I were at the Kilt and Caper on August 13. Our waitress was Jamie 7107. Jamie's service was outstanding. She was extremely pleasant and professional. Such a pleasant smile even during the extremely busy wing night. Looking around at the packed place Krista and Sean were helping clearing tables, bringing out orders and even squeezing in greeting the customers. Maybe I'd just expected too much from this place on a Monday for lunch. The chicken shwarma bowl was a great idea, but it was missing the flavor that I was looking for. There were 4 groups in the place at 11:30. We were given a ketchup bottle that had 1 squeeze left.

Kilt is a great pub. Atmosphere is fantastic here. Attended for the first time in a while for a fundraiser last weekend. Staff were attentive and accurate with drinks coming out as ordered (and quickly). Had a burger and fries - the burger was delicious - looked to be 1/3 lbs in size. Was really satisfied after the meal. There was live music and playoff hockey on, so all in all a great Saturday night
If I went out more often, I'd likely come back again!
