We’re visiting Calgary from Florida, and after traveling to over 65 countries and visiting all 50 U.S. states, I can honestly say this is about as authentic as it gets outside of Laos. The food here is absolutely amazing.
Everything was super fresh with amazing flavor. To start, we ordered the spring rolls and Laos fried wings. Our main dishes consisted of Laab and pork skewers with sticky rice - the Thai tea was also the best we've ever had outside of Laos (we ordered three). The food here was so good; that once we finished eating, we ordered more to go so we could have it later back at the hotel.
The restaurant is very clean, in a great location, and the customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I highly recommend KinDee Street Kitchen to anyone visiting Calgary. I really wish I could take this place back to Florida with me. It will definitely be a must-stop every time we come back to Calgary.

I brought my son to have a taste of authentic Lao dishes and i was very happy I chose Kin Dee. The khao piak sen and beef larb taste exactly like a Lao house hold dish. Kin Dee definetly deserves all the best recognition for their delicious tradition Lao-Thai dishes. See you soon :)

I was looking forward to stopping in at this highly rated Thai/Laos restaurant. Great reviews online. The hostess was very nice and came to check on my meal once but I didn't have the heart to tell her the Pad Thai tasted like the bottom of a fish bucket. I ordered one side of spring rolls which were okay but you would find this quality of food in any restaurant with a deep fryer. Overall I was underwhelmed :(
