I haven't been by in 6 months, and today's donair killed my liking for the place. I have been going here since the opened it used to be the best. My donair was cold, and it was wrapped in aluminum to keep it warm?!? The meat was overcooked and dried out. Service was slow. Too bad this place is supposed to represent the Maritimes.

They lost all drive within the past few months apperantly i always used to come there but tonight i order for the first time in 4 months and it was ice cold as it was just sitting before i even ordered my donair if this continues i dont see this buisness staying open ,especially considering the reviews in recent months.

Food was great. But…They only had one person working so it took over 30 minutes to get two Donair even though there was no one else ordering. Also, touching her face then preparing food and her hair was down. Not overly impressed. But best place for a Halifax Donair. Sauce is perfect.

Honestly beyond disappointed. First time I went there and sat down to eat a donair it was just like the real original donairs king of donair always sells withe classic and true donair sauce. It was taste of back home (I'm from halifax) that made me happy as nobody else makes donair sauce like this (correctly). However I just had ordered take out with them and wow.... this was gross and not at all traditional king of donair. The donair bread was odd and the garlic fingers were horrid. When I use to get them a couple years ago from here they were so good, garlicy, buttery and cheesy. The type of garlic fingers I can't find anywhere out here... idk what they did differently now but i basically got burnt bread with cheese on top, zero flavor. A huge let down

Would still be better than eating anything here.A doner place without meat on the spinner should've warned me but I still gave it a try. The beef is anything but fresh, the pizza crust is like a cutting board, the doner is barely wrapped and The cook here looks lost in life!

Spent like 20$ for a platter and poutine. Platter has 3 thin pieces of meat, sauce was so sweet. Poutine was VERY salty. I was unable to finish it because it was so salty. Was reading the recent reviews while I was waiting and hoped it would turn out good but was pretty disappointed.
