Typical pub food but pricey. That was the first time my friend and I had been to this hub.But the nice thing is, it had an older crowd and everyone was having a great time and dancing.

The service was OK but there was an asian lady that was at the bar , taking out the limes and lemons out of the tray and then licking her fingers , and grabbing more lines and lemons after out of the tray at the station which was so disgusting and the waitress was just standing there and watching. And letting her do it. This this tray should be covered at the station. We left shortly after. Definitely, was not sanitary and I have to wonder how sanitary everything else is if that's going to be going on. I also understand that it can be fairly busy , but I don't think that waitresses should be sitting at their station eating their food.

Honestly I would recommend for the band and the older crowd and the dancing but I wouldn't recommend eating there. Most likely won't return. After reading all the other negative reviews , I agree with all of them. It's unfortunate because there's not too many pubs that are around anymore.That people ought to get app and have a good time and dance with a good band but all the rest of it was definitely awful. Also, maybe let your clientele know of your specials that you have because the platter was on for thirty five dollars which we would have been interested in had we been told before we ordered. I don't think the girls are interested in giving any good customer service that's professional. For paying patrons you should care a little bit more or at least pretend to show it.

This used to be a venue I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, our last two visits for the Danger Cats show were very disappointing. It feels like they either don’t have enough staff scheduled for events or simply choose not to — because both times, the service was poor.

During our first visit, it was so bad we couldn’t even get water, let alone food. When we asked for water, we were told it wasn’t their problem and to “use our server.” This most recent time, our server started off fine, but once the crowd arrived and the show began, getting any attention was nearly impossible. We had to hope for eye contact just to order another drink. When I finally mentioned how long it had been, the server blatantly told me I could have found her to make my order. That is absolutely not the customer’s job.

At one point, I told the server — as someone with experience in her line of work — that she should address both the females and males at the table, not just one person. It’s basic courtesy and professionalism in hospitality. Instead of taking that feedback gracefully, she became defensive and waited until my partner came back from the washroom to complain about me to him, clearly trying to shift the situation. She even pointed us out to a coworker afterward.

When I brought the issue to the manager, I was met with more defensiveness rather than understanding or accountability.

We weren’t the only ones having trouble — the table behind us, an older couple, had to go to the bar themselves just to get water, and they were met with attitude as well.

What happened to the King’s Head? It used to be such a great place with excellent service and atmosphere, but something has definitely changed — and not for the better.

Came for a birthday dinner. Ordered 3 steak sandwiches, 1 medium 2 medium rare all 3 came well done. Waitress was impatient and slightly rude. Was still charged for the 3 drinks a total $25, instead of being comped for them. We left and went to a different restaurant for the dinner.

We love The Kingshead!! My friends & I have been going for over 10 years now. It’s always such a fun time & amazing live bands!
Our last visit (just a few nights ago), we had the server Shaundra. This is the 2nd time we’ve had her serve us. She is so on the ball, kind & friendly. Definitely the best server we’ve had since going there!

I want to take a moment to highlight the outstanding service we received from Kelsey at The King’s Head Eatery & Music Room. From the moment we sat down, she set the tone for the evening with her friendly energy, genuine smile, and professional attention to detail.

What stood out most was the way she balanced efficiency with warmth—our food and drinks arrived quickly, but she never made us feel rushed. She checked in at just the right times, anticipated what we might need, and even offered thoughtful recommendations from the menu that turned out to be spot-on.

It’s rare to come across a server who makes you feel like more than “just another table,” but Kelsey absolutely did that. She elevated the whole experience and made our night memorable. Employees like her are the reason guests come back and recommend the place to friends.

Great experience, great beer, the pizza was delicious, and the service was out of this world our servers name was Kelsey. I came in with a bunch of friends and we all had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend this pub to anyone looking for a wonderful evening!
