Kings Head does a great jam session on Saturdays. The food is delicious especially the beef dip and chipotle chicken wrap. The service is amazing and atmosphere is bumping but not too crazy.

Excellent service, good food great atmosphere

Food tasted like sadness. Pretty sure my steak sandwich was microwaved and was as tough as leather even though I ordered it medium rare. Gravy in the poutine was very salty and the whole thing was cold. Considering that we were the only table there at 1pm, service was pretty slow. We had to ask for water and drinks several times before they were brought to us but most of the time we were just sitting there with empty glasses trying to swallow dry stakes.
So if you are looking into good food, don't go!

Beef dip was so good and oh my gosh the fries?? Amazing. I was last there during one of the saturday jam sessions. Was working on my laptop (needed a change of scenery) and the woman was section i was sat in was prompt and attentive, easily communicating despite the loud live jam session. She was also so considerate of the limited space on the little hightop i was sitting at thanks to my laptop, and instead of dropping a big cady asked what condinents, if any, i may want with my meal so as not to further crowd me. It was a small thing but it stuck with me. The food arrived SO fast, and i was never without a beverage for long (if at all).

My GF went to enjoy the music on Saturday and left suffering a concussion after being punched in a brawl.
Now she’s off work for two weeks, had an xray and CT scan for the damage and the CPS are involved.

Your bar staff/bouncers are useless.
I can’t wait to hear the lawyer’s opinion of this cluster-f.

Waited 30 minutes at the door without the line moving and couldn't get in. Bouncers wouldn't communicate with FOH to let more people in, when a bunch were leaving.

It's a great place to hang out and catch up with friends and new friends. It may get loud due to the band, but there are place you can have conversations. Foods great, and every time we walk in Carissa is is ontop of all our orders. She is what makes this place special to all of us

We had so much fun! Celebrated a birthday. Band was great, service was excellent in spite of being short staffed, good varied menu. Nachos need improvement as the cheese was only in middle chips and not evenly distributed
