Came for Thursday night Guitar Fight Club. Great time, excellent entertainment. Good food and service. Only negative comment would be outhouse smell in bathrooms.

Large space. Staff was unfriendly and dismissive. Turned patrons away for no logical reason despite being almost empty. Decent tacos. No reason to go back.

I was there twice before and I thought it was a nice establishment but if they don't support personal freedoms then I will never eat or drink there again.

We were there on Saturday at 730pm. It took 15 minutes for the waitress to come by the table, when she then had to go get drink and food menus. We waited another 10 minutes for the menus arrived. After the menus were dropped off at the table the waitress did not come back to the table. We walked out after waiting another 10 minutes. So in a span of 35 minutes we were handed three menus and had zero customer service. Would not go back, and would strongly recommend you avoid this establishment.

The Kings Head Pub in Calgary is unique in its own way with an electrifying nightlife scene. Live music sets the stage on fire, adding rhythm to the already buzzing atmosphere. They have a somewhat okay kitchen, if you are hungry and need a quick bite, drinks, space for dancing, roaming and movement. Pool tables and different sections to seat as well as trivia. Wednesday trivia games offer a thrilling challenge, where minds collide in friendly competition. Amidst the excitement, bartender Paul shines as the heart of the experience, effortlessly crafting drinks, while engaging patrons with his warmth and charm. Whether you're craving a night of revelry, a culinary adventure, dance off, or a brain-teasing trivia showdown, Kings Head Pub delivers an unforgettable experience that keeps you coming back for more.

I came across several online accounts detailing how a patron was asked to leave solely based on their political beliefs. As someone who values fairness and equal treatment, I found this incident troubling.A restaurant should be a place where everyone feels welcome, regardless of their personal beliefs or opinions. To hear of such an incident at King's Head raises concerns about the establishment's commitment to treating all patrons with respect. While I cannot speak to the quality of the food or service, I believe it's crucial to address instances of unfair treatment wherever they occur. As a consumer, I hope management takes this incident seriously and works to ensure that all patrons are treated fairly and respectfully in the future. In the meantime, I will be exploring other dining options where I can feel confident that all customers are treated with dignity and respect.

It should be noted this is a business that does not support free speech. Patrons who had a business meeting and came in to purchase meals and drinks. As many people do, there was business done and discussed over a meal in a restaurant. Management came up and intruded in the business and kicked the patrons out when it was discovered the business being done was for the Recall Gondek Campaign. If you support small Calgary business I would highly recommend taking your money to a pub that supports you and your right to free speech. I am happy to say I will never spend a dime at this run down pub ever again.

Wonderful place since reopening. The service I get here from Mark, Matt, and especially Paul, is amazing. Paul tells the best jokes. I no longer live in the area but I will come back down at least once a week because of staff like Paul.

Had a great time here tonight. Can't remember our server's name, but I do remember she had a face tattoo. I absolutely loved her service. She had our whole table laughing with her banter, and she was quick with refills and taking our order 10/10 spot, I will definitely come again.

I will not be going to the King's Head again even though I live a few blocks from it. To kick out the Recall Mayor Gondek group that were having a business meeting is disgusting. One would think this Eatery would be supporting this intiative given the rezoning is basically throwing the citizens of Acadia under the bus.
